Buffaloberry B&B is a lovely home away from home, the hosts are friendly and very knowledgeable about the area whether you are looking for a place to eat, history of the area or good hiking trails. The breakfast are excellent with fresh fruit to start and wonderful creations. Every evening excellent home baked cookies are available to enjoy, as well... More

Theresa and James have perfected the Bed & Breakfast experience with the Buffaloberry! They are most engaging hosts, the accommodations are top notch, the breakfasts are delicious and substantial, and the allowance of a small bar for a discreet aperitif was much appreciated. The location is a short walk to the center of Banff. They even provided a light dusting... More

The special of 'buy 4 nights get one free' was such a nice deal for us in this extremely expensive tourist area. Sticker shock is a good phrase since our last visit to Alberta in the 1990's. It was a wonderful 5 nights for us here at the Buffaloberry with walking to downtown Banff each day a huge part of... More

From the moment we booked we were looking forward to our 5 nights stay here. The pictures dont really do justice to the beautiful house and grounds, and the location couldn't be better for access to town, parks or attractions. The owners were away on Holiday, but we dont feel we missed out on anything apart from maybe a bit... More

When we made our reservations we did so based on the reviews we had read and had been posted by others, as well as information presented on the owners’ website. Unfortunately for us, when we arrived, we were not greeted by the owners, but by someone they had left in charge. The person told us that the owners were away... More

We spent 5 delightful nights at the Buffaloberry B&B in September. Our accommodations were comfortable and extremely clean. Breakfast was a highlight and we loved that we could choose our mealtime the evening before so it was freshly made when we arrived at the table. James and Theresa were very friendly and willing to help with tour suggestions to make... More

We had a wonderful 3 night stay here in early September over the labor day weekend. The house is beautiful and just a 5 minute walk into the center of town. A great location and one of the reasons we chose to stay here. The guest rooms were extremely clean- the bedding and linens were very comfortable. The hosts Theresa... More

We stayed here in Banff for 2 nights. Had a wonderful stay. Immaculately maintained very tastefully done. Rooms are very comfortable. Fresh morning breakfast is also very well prepared. Strongly recommend this property. Location of property is also convenient. Within blocks of action in town but still located in a very quiet street.

Our room was lovely, the welcome warm and the breakfasts cooked by Ava were delicious - home made granola, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, juice, and a changing delicious cooked breakfast every day - waffles, stuffed pancakes, three way baked eggs with spinach and cheese- were the breakfasts when we were there. Bed comfortable - parking outside or in underground garage,... More

The Buffaloberry is a high quality B&B in every way. The home itself is new and beautiful. The room was large, the bed comfortable, and all of the facilities were of high quality. The breakfasts were very special! There is a lovely sitting room and beautiful outdoor deck for relaxing. There are also special touches - like free alcohol for... More
