Perfect for someone who doesn't mind being a little out of town, has some beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Stayed in a six person room but never had more than 3 in the room. Walls are a bit thin but didn't spend to much time in the room as they have a very large sitting area as you come...

It's what it is, as many alpine centers is some inexpensive, but don't expect a luxory hotel. Really confortable, nice place, very nice people and with a parking lot. The cabins are big enough for at least 4, the general look is more like a cabin (as it is) than a hotel, but they are really clean. A perfect place...

I checked in on the evening of the 23rd and stayed for a solo trip for about a week. The location is decent -- because it's about 15 minutes away walking distance from the heart of downtown, they give you a free bus pass throughout the week, which leaves from a nearby location every 40 minutes. It's got a restaurant...

I only stayed here a couple nights as it was the only hostel with vacancy over the weekend. It was a nice place, big kitchen/dining area that didn't get too busy. It has its own bar which seemed popular though I didn't go in. The rooms were a little small especially for this time of year when people have snowboards...

The hostel was as good as a hostel can be. Excellent facilities eg. kitchen, bar, common areas all very well appointed. The only thing i can say is if you want to be staying in the middle of town, don't stay here. It is a few km's from the town centre and up a huge hill which was not a...

As my trip to Banff was last-minute, I justified it by booking a hostel for a cheap room instead of a hotel. I booked a bed in a female four-bed room with ensuite bathroom, but upon check-in was put into a female six-bed room. It didn't end up being a problem because there were never more than 3 of us...

We were a bit apprehensive about staying here since it is a hostel (which neither of us have ever stayed in) but we decided to book the cabin since the price was reasonable and take a change. We were very happy with the cabin. The staff was very nice. We had a bit of an issue when we checked in...

I booked a private room with shared bathroom for 2 nights. The room of first night was clean & bed was comfortable. Washroom and bathrooms were clean and separated. Common area is spacious and newly decorated. Unfortunately, I could not stay the same room on the second night, probably because I made two bookings in different websites at different time....

The weeks leading up to our trip to Banff I researched the hostels in the area and decided upon the Alpine Centre. The price was definitely a consideration but more importantly was location since we planned to stay here for a week. The hostel is conveniently located minutes from downtown and other points of interest in the area. It is...
