If you are ready for a truly rustic hide-away for a short stay you should book a night or two at this lovely facility. They have rustic one-bedroom and two-bedroom cabins equipped with wood-burning fireplaces and all the rustic charm you could ask for. Don't go here expecting to watch TV or surf the internet but to kick back and...

Storm Mountain Lodge & Cabins is authentically unique, historic, naturally organic and always genuinely welcoming. Personally tested each and every year for last a bit more then a quarter of a century. If you are visiting Banff or Lake Louise this magical place is only about 15 minutes away. Their cabin are wonderful pieces of western coziness and brilliant functionality,...

I'm somewhat amused by some of the complaints on other reviews (no space for luggage, no heat in the bathrooms, etc), so I felt compelled to comment. The cabins are rustic, and meant for a true "cabin" experience. The bed was comfortable, the fireplace kicks off an amazing amount of heat. The cabin is cozy, clean and quiet just want...

Wanted to try this remote spot in the mountains and finally did. Wow! The cabin was rustic, clean and cozy. An abundance of firewood was stacked outside the door and the fireplace was set up ready to lite. The lodge & cabins run off of generators so not a lot of amenities such as wifi, TV, microwaves, hair dryer or...

We spent a wonderful weekend getting away from it all in a historic setting restored with modern comforts yet maintaining the charm of years gone by. The cozy cabins with working fireplaces, the outstanding food and the lovely staff make this a one of kind experience. It really stole my heart.

We stayed for 3 nights in September and found Storm Mountains to be wonderful. We stayed in one of the older cabins with the fire which we lit every night adding to the Canada / cabin experience. We found the cabin to be very comfy with above average heating and in beautiful surrounds. We ate dinner in the restaurant one...

We have driven past Storm Mountain countless times, always meaning to stop "one of these days". We figured that a family celebration for Dad's 60th birthday was the perfect occasion to make Storm Mountain a destination and we are SO GLAD that we did! The family cabin was unavailable, so we made reservations for 2 cabins. The assistant manager happened...

We have visited Storm Mountain twice before and absolutely loved it. We were lucky enough to be able to visit again and it was just as we remembered. Yes, the cabins are rustic but that is one of the things we enjoy. Not a cookie cutter hotel room, but a cozy, warm and very comfortable cabin of your own with...

What a find! Beautiful, warm, rustic lodge with 16 cabins...and, remarkable food. The lodge has been around since the 1920s. Cabins are simple and a bit small but have a nice queen bed, a leather sofa and a big woodburning fireplace. Bathrooms have claw foot tubs. The food is incredible. Breakfast runs the gamut...from granola to Smoked Salmon Benedict and...
