Sunshine lodge location is exceptional. It is a beautiful mountain with the best snow but that's all nature's gift nothing that the resort management did. It feels like the management themselves are not too focused on the customer service aspect. Staff are too engrossed in their own conversations rather than attending to the customer. I don't mind waiting in a... More

We went for a couple days at the end of April 2016 and there was plenty of snow. It wasn't very busy with no lines for the lifts and everyone was very nice and friendly! The service was very good and the food was a bit overpriced for the quality and not much selection up there but it can be... More

Quite expensive for a hotel that needs a bit of TLC. Bathroom drain was blocked. Shower curtain was dirty. Matress cover had blood on. Hot tub had carpet to come out onto which was dirty. I loved the fact we could stay by the hill, but you're definitely paying a premium for that as the hotel is not up to... More

You can't beat the location and they have a great hot tub but service is bare bones at best. The rooms are ok but a bit tired. I don't believe house keeping owns a vacuum. The food and service in the restaurant was absolutly brutal.

I really enjoyed staying on the hill. Sunshine is a great mountain. It is nice to look out the balcony at the mountain view. The rooms are nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The blinds don't totally shut out the light, so if you have too many pops at MAD TRAPPERS, maybe bring an eyemask if you want to... More

We have been in Calgary for 16 years, ski regularly and have always wanted to stay at the Sunshine Lodge. We finally booked with some friends in two 'water fall view' rooms. These are super small rooms but well designed. If you have kids I highly recommend the bigger rooms, if it is just two of you, these would probably... More

rooms, food and ski facilites all excellent! Staff very friendly and accomodating! Would come again. Some refurbishing of common areas required and staff sometimes a bit lax but perhaps due to end of the season.

Beautiful property. Everything as described. Other than room keys becoming demagitized 3 times in 2 days, and no information on how to check out/no Do Not Disturb sign to put out... I couldn't possibly say anything bad. Stayed in a loft room. Amazing views, 15ish foot high windows to the resort and mountains, 2 bathrooms, amazing!

There's nothing like waking up on the mountain, watching the spring sunrise and anticipating the amazing ski day ahead. The room was modern, clean and with full amenities.
