You will need a GPS to find your room and then a cellphone and compass if you want ice! However, once you find your room it is large and clean with a comfortable bed and spectacular views from the oversize balcony. We found this hotel to be quaint in a rustic, hunting lodge style but we were disappointed that the... More

a really nice hotel, breakfast was good, indoor swimming pool, bus passes to use local transport, this hotel is near edge of town but local bus service until late with hotel bus pass so travelled up and down town. Go up town and walk around to Indian museum, walk along river, early morning superb reflections. LOvely shops, lots of eating... More

This hotel has a very odd lay out, it is in 3 sections and is joined by covered in walkways. The signs to get you from level 3 where we were to the front desk are not very good they really could do with putting better signs up. The hotel is a good distance from the town, but the hotel... More

I stayed in the 4 bedroom condo for my husband's birthday. We took our adult children and it was the best experience I have had in years! 4 bedrooms , living room , dining area , fully stocked kitchen three bathrooms , balcony , bbq, best furniture for our needs! and on and on !!!! Staff was so good and... More

If you want a cheap place to stay, then this will do. I would compare it to a youth hostel, the staff need to be employed at a 4* hotel rather than this dump. Very friendly, helpful and smart, but that is all this hostel has to offer. The hotel seems to be situated on the side of a cliff... More

I am surprised by some other peoples reviews... James greeted us with a big smile when we walked in to the lobby and was incredibly helpful! We had booked our room over the phone with reservations.com who had promised us the room was pet friendly but when we arrived at the hotel all of their pet friendly rooms were occupied.... More

With this hotel you certainly get what you pay for. Not only were the bathmats stained, there was hair all over the floor and the overall feel was just dirty. The walls are very thin as it sounded like people in the hallway were in our room. Fairly disappointed, but fine for a few nights.

the rooms and hallways have dirty carpets and are really outdated, it really seems that they are taking advantage of their location and haven't done any renovations in years. Pay the extra buck and stay somewhere else.

I also got the extremely RUDE Check-In Staff. What is their problem? Talk about attitude! I don't think anybody at this place has ever been trained in customer service, or if they have, the management simply doesn't care. They are able to rip off tourists due to capacity constraints in the national park and an overwhelming demand from overseas. Low... More

For a company like the Banff Lodging Company who owns and operates many fine properties that I have stayed at, has no excuse for letting this hotel get as rundown as it has. Our room was so dirty especially the bathroom, that the next morning we left as soon as possible, my wife would not even use the shower, the... More
