A very pleasant stay and a great alternative to all the soulless hotels near the M1. Nicely presented room and greatly appreciated hot drinks as I arrived during storm Angus. The food is very good, both dinner and breakfast and good friendly staff. I got the impression the scenic town would be good for a walk and alternative bars and...

Hotel is converted from old buildings and had a rustic look. The rooms are themed with movie stars and are nicely decorated. Evening meal was excellent and very good value for the Wednesday steak special. Breakfast was made to order and promptly served and delicious. Great for an overnight or weekend stay. Only drawback was that because it is in...

Stayed for one night mid-week while visiting relatives, so just required bed and breakfast. Comfortable room, clean and well maintained, with a small en-suite off. Quiet location even though at the front overlooking the main street through the old town. Free parking to the rear though a narrow driveway. Good traditional English breakfast with a few alternative choices. Friendly welcoming...

We stayed for 2 nights and booked direct, same price as Hotel.com. All the staff were very friendly We had the 2 front suites which were great for time out after a day in Derbyshire. I agree there is noise from the road so good to take earplugs as being an old building and the nature of heat rising we...

We can not THANK the manor house enough for hosting our BIG day. Sally and her fabulous team worked so hard with making out wedding day so special. They could not have done more for us and the venue was simply stunning. We would highly recommend this venue if anyone is wanting a small intimate wedding reception with a larger...

We had a 2 nights' stay and enjoyed it immensely. The breakfast was simply exquisite; the best I have ever had.. smoked haddock with poached eggs... Both mornings as it was so good the first. Very friendly and welcoming staff. All of them whenever we meet them. Would definitely recommend The Manor House Hotel, Dronfield to anyone needing a relaxed...

We stayed at this venue for two nights for a family wedding and the accommodation was outstanding. The food was fantastic all weekend and everyone's requests were accommodated with ease. (Including dietary requirements) The staff were extremely friendly and caring to ensure we had everything we required during our stay. The wedding venue was amazing and all the effort put...

Living in the Dronfield area I often visit the manor for a couple during the week or for a coffee etc, and never tend to visit the weekend. Visited middle of september on a saturday evening with a few work colleagues, immediately the bar staff were serving and having a laugh with the customers as well as us all. Nothing...

Stayed on a Friday night pre heading to Bakewell to start our weeks Peak District holiday.Received a nice welcome at reception which is located in the bar. We had a room facing the road unfortunately so this was noisy at times. The room was also hot & stuffy although there is a fan provided (located in the wardrobe). The lighting...
