Living in Repton we are blessed with choice of fine dining in and close to the village. We often venture further afield to check new venues, joining friends and family at their ends of town. Time and time again we conclude that The Boot Inn represents the finest 'easy dining' experience and fabulous English pub experience for literally miles around.... More

First visit and we booked a evening meal for 4 with friends. Saturday night 7pm the Pub was busy as expected, rammed and quiet noisy. Saying we had booked 4 weeks ago, our table was by the door and quite drafty. The Staff stated they had overbooked and so no other tables available so we had no choice but to... More

Have already submitted a report but it appears to have been closed! It is my opinion, I have always provided constructive experiences and in this instance, the issues regarding the accommodation ,restaurant and, price difference between the trip adviser room quote and the Boot quote were all authentic. I assume it was the manager who offered sincere apologies on Saturday... More

We stayed here overnight on our way to a family wedding on 28 October. The staff who greeted were friendly, smiling, and extremely accommodating (no pun intended). The rooms were amazing, and the food in the restaurant fabulous, accompanied by great service. We have booked again for December when we're coming up for another wedding.

We called in for lunch yesterday and found the food to be excellent. The hardest part was deciding what to have. My wife doesn't eat meat, so the choice was narrowed, but even she found it difficult. I particularly enjoyed the beef ribs and mustard mash which was cooked to perfection with the meat literally melting off the bone. The... More

We were recommended The Boot by some members of our family and as we ate here last year, we decided to stay. We stayed in a Superior room and it was lovely. Very tidy with elegant pieces of furniture and a comfortable bed. It was warm; perfect for the October weather. I was also happy to see that there was... More

We visited here at the weekend with friends a lovely location and nicely presented pub. Though the food we ordered was very tasty we did have to wait a very long time for it and found the portion sizes on the small side and would recommend ordering side dishes. Value for money not.

Stayed here for one night with friends. We had lunch which was excellent. Service was good. We took advantage of the Boot's equivalent of happy hour with bottle of champagne @ £20 per bottle and two for one cocktails. Rooms were of a high standard and very comfortable. We were eating elsewhere in the evening but will definitely return to... More

We had dinner Saturday evening and waited an hour before we received our food. The food was good but the galette was very poor value. We also found it difficult to have a conversation as it was so crowded and very noisy. It is a shame as we have had some excellent lunches there. We are cancelling our booking for... More

Thanks for your review. We are really sad you have not reviewed us before especially when you 'had some excellent lunches' but that's the world we live in I suppose! Saturday night can be very busy and if you had to wait an hour for any food then, of course, that is unacceptable but the problem occurs when people turn... More
