Montizeau is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature in the Sologne region and a great starting point for exploring the castles of the river Loire region. You are in proximity of the castle of Chambord as well as Cheverny and the smaller one in Beaugency. A little further is the castle of Blois as well as...

Its a charming B&B cottage with 4 rooms - 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs. Luggage trolleys available in the car park to wheel luggage in to the rooms as the lawn and gravel path would make it difficult to wheel luggage. This was really well thought out. 1) Location - 30 minutes away from Blois but it was good for...

After a long days drive we arrived at gate that hid a beautiful location for a stay in the Loire valley. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The gardens an absolute pleasure to wonder around. The host, Jacqueline was very friendly and gave very good suggestions as to what there is to see in the area. The...

Tucked away behind tall gates, the house is set in attractive grounds and gardens. A former hunting lodge, it has been beautifully restored and transformed into a small B&B, with evening meal available if you pre-book. Our hostess, Jacqueline, is friendly and charming and speaks a little English. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and both evening meal...

Everything about this place was charming, from the friendly welcome from Jacqueline, to the delightful regional cuisine, to the spacious and peaceful garden. Book ahead for the evening meal, at a table you share with other guests if there are any. It makes quite a party, and good for taxing language skills. Madame will try her best in English if...

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay at Domaine de Montizeau. Jacqueline was very helpful prior to arrival and the perfect host during our stay. The breakfast was outstanding and her evening meal was superb. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable. There are 4 bicycles that can be borrowed to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Although Moncay...

The B&B is situated in a lovely part of France and the buildings and its gardens are lovely. Our room was very well decorated in the french style with lots of nice touches. We decided to eat our evening meal at the B&B & joined the other guests. The meal was OK and the wine very nice but was very...

Jacqueline welcomes you with to her very elegant B&B. Our room was well decorated and the bathroom well supplied. The heated towel bar was most appreciated. Her breakfasts were typical French with lots of breads and home made jams.We very much enjoyed our stay in very pleasant surroundings.

This former hunting lodge is situated in delightful countryside and offers a high degree of seclusion with its electric gates & walled garden. Our room (Parme) was not large but possibly a trifle over-crowded with various small items of furniture. Everything that one might need (with the exception of a TV - if that counts as a 'need') seemed to...
