Great place! Impressing and cozy cabines, all handmade by the owner Jamie himself. Good food! Had a perfect high quality dive experience with Nikki at Apo Island. The best place to unwind and relax. We had some problems with our bank cards in the phillipines, they were most helpful and kind to us.

This was the 3rd time we'd stayed at the beautiful KooKoo's Nest. The attraction is the peaceful location, the excellent food and the overall chilled atmosphere. The individually designed, native styled cottages blend into the hillside overlooking the small private beach with a west (sunset) view. The cottage we stayed in is perched on a rock and offers the most...

Staying in kookoo's nest was one of my favorite vacations. It was like we own the place, because it was peaceful and they only have 6 huts. Although it was far from the city, but if you want to get away from the buzz and hassle this is one perfect place. Hoping to get back again.

About 90 minutes away from Dumaguete (bus and motorcycle ride), you can reach Kookoo's Nest. The trip will surely be worth it. They have few cottages, we were the only ones checked in during our stay. They have a private beach. They also have an inhouse restaurant. Too bad we were not able to meet the owners. They were on...

We stayed here last september and it was really great. Our Bungalow was very cozy and we had a balcony with a great view over the ocean. + For good and affordable food, private bathrooms and mosquito nets. The only thing missing was a bit more to do, maybe they could buy some board games and pool to borrow.

An enjoyable rustic stay right on the beach. Pleasant staff who prepare nice local meals at your request. It is out of the way, no fancy amenities, but if you want a relaxing stay without any crowds, come here.

We stayed at the resort for a week at the Toko bungalow. Stunning views from the Veranda vor the oceans and ahead three of the largest geckos (=Tokos) we have ever seen. The room was simple but very nicely built with many possibilities for ventilation. The beach was great but be aware that the sea is rough in August and...

Stunning location, superb hosts Jamie and Nicky, amazing locally sourced food, cheap beer. Then there is the diving. One of the best sites I have visited in 40 years of qualified diving. Tambobo bay, kayaking through the mangrove swamps. Amazing place. Sent my eldest son there just after his 18th. Came back with an advanced. He has just come back...

We arrived the private beach by dinghy (dropped off by friends) and enjoyed the beautiful interiors of the bamboo establishment, with a colour scheme of alternating white and navy blue features on the walls and on their cushions. It is owned by a friendly couple from Somerset, with their (4?) loving golden retrievers. The whole place is singing with peaceful...

We were in the resort for two days, just to relax. The cottages are beautiful and clean. You've got a beautiful seeview from you cottage. In the neigboorhood is the city Dumaguete and Lake balanan wich are both nice to visit. If you want to relax, I would definately go here.
