Only four bedrooms so need to book and if you get one on the front you have amazing views across the valley, sheep in the field and the Lakeland hills in the distance. Very clean and comfortable, a substantial breakfast with home baked bread and welcoming hosts Mike and Maureen provide torches to see your way down the country lane...

Advice...

A little off the beaten track, Plum Tree House is situated on the edge of the pretty village of Brigsteer. We were in Room 3 at the front of the house which had beautiful views across the valley,a lovely way to start the day. The room was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The bathroom looked a little dated but was...

A lovely wee b&b in the middle of the lake district with stunning views of the countryside. Rooms are en suite and adequately equipped with tea coffee making facilities etc. There are some nice 'woman's touches' in the decor. Breakfast was hearty and no trouble to cater for my veggie partner. Do not take a large vehicle however as many...

Stayed for one night and had everything we needed. Storage for our bikes was offered. Some clothing was washed & dried. Cooked breakfast was just right. Rooms clean & comfy. Lovely location. Provided torches for the walk to the local pub which they recommended.
