That may sum up the weather from start to finish but Whitbarrow Village welcomes you whatever the weather. Lovely accommodation and facilities including a pool (which we didn't use). The welcome and all dealings with reception was both professional and friendly. Did not need maintenance so can't report but the fact they are available is excellent service. We are Seasons...

Very good on site facilities, great links to most areas of the Lakes, though behind the times. Tired decor with only a tiny double bed and no WIFI in the accommodation. The lighting was incredibly dim due to energy saving bulbs.

I have to mention one very unfortunate observation of a mum with a disabled daughter, I'm guessing her ages 12-13yrs, having to dress her on the floor of a changing room with no door in the communal changing facilities in the leisure pool as there were no disabled facilities!!

Love this place, friendly staff always willing to help. Weather typical Lake District rain rain and then a bit more rain. But just get out there and enjoy what the Lakes have to offer what ever the weather.

A Great Weekend. Location is Excellent, Staff very helpful and friendly. Felt that nothing would have been too much trouble. Expect some adverse weather ( it is the lakes after all ) but the on site facilities are suitable for either couples or families.

This was a return visit to this lovely site. The gardens are well kept and the rooms and facilities are spotlessly clean. There is a super, well equipped, indoor games room for children next to the bar/restaurant, our toddler granddaughter loved it! Also an outdoor play area which would have benefitted from the addition of a "baby" swing. Great swimming pool...

Great location in The North Lakes 8 miles from Penrith / M6 and 10 miles from Keswick. Picturesque holiday village, the accommodation is clean and well equipped. We used the onsite restaurant, gym and pool facilities which were all good. Excellent service from all the staff. The site is clean and well landscaped

Great value for money. Super location with good facilities. The new refurb of the restaurant area is excellent. The choice on the menu was extensive and the food was hot when it arrived. We had a very enjoyable stay even though the end of the week had typical Lake District weather.
