Stayed in the Royalist Suite recently, very well equipped self-catering accommodation which was a short walk into the village of Orton. Lovely room and extensive grounds. Would highly recommend. Used as a base for some great walks in the Lakes over a long weekend.

Pleasant compact apartment in a converted hall. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable with the fold down bed for three of us. Good access to the Eastern edge of the Lake District and the M6. A great moment playing pool in the shared lounge area.

I'd check out their web page, the Clarendon Suite has been available, but you would be best to contact Orton Hall direct regarding dates and availability.
