I visited the Shnongpdeng in the 2nd week of March 2021 with 4 of my friends. We took a package of 800 per head which includes the tent- stay, campfire n breakfast. Boating, cliff jumping and other activities are nearby for which extra charges are there. Restaurants and washrooms are also near the stay. I enjoyed the stay and especially the boating & cliff jumping part alot. The staff are good and understanding. We had to lend their speaker for the night because we didn't had one. Also our phones were handed over to them for charging. We had a really good time there!
One of the best and refreshing experience , the camp was well organised as they put safety first as a Priority and the host (Karbi ) Was very professional and well spoken I would rate this 10/10 would love to visit again 🏕
Awesome experience at the Shnonpdeng camping managed by Karbi, this guy does every bit to make your stay and activities at their best and even the food was quite healthy unlike to other camps. Keep hosting like this 🙌
This was our first trip to meghalaya really loved it..If u are planning of going around meghalaya Travenjo is the best option....Karbi was so helpful ..really we enjoyed it..Good location and nice tent

Very kind and cooperative tent organiser with no intentions of looting the customers takes care of individual small needs and comfort very well ! Over all worth the experience and best deal at this price everyone should go for it !!!
Arrangements were made prior to our arrival. And all activities has been well guided. Foods were good and got it on time. Overall it’s a wonderful experience. Special Mention to the host Manshua and his brother.
It was a great experience staying in tent with the sound of the river and the wind which was so relaxing and refreshing. We had a wonderful night with the campfire under the starry night with beutiful khasi song sung by the lady(dont remember her name) In the morning we had some pics taken from the hanging bridge.Food was delicious.Well maintained and neat place to stay. Slient and quite place. I recommend every one to once visit the place to experience the beauty of the nature with chilling weather. Boating kayaking are also available.
A good trip all round. Initial contact was convinient enough. The camp site and tents were comfortable, though travellers should be aware not to expect luxury . The guides at the village were particularly friendly and accommodating. Karbi and his brother made sure we did not miss out on anything. Food was basic but well prepared. And the outdoor activities, mostly water-based, were entertaining. And scuba diving was the highlight. A must try. Remember to respect the surrounding environment and the village norms and customs for an enjoyable stay.
Solo trip and a maiden one to Dawki. It was the perfect end to my holiday, by the river side away from madness. That leads to my suggestion, the camp site is a bit far from the town, getting there was quite an effort since I was travelling alone and relying on public transport (It can’t be so if you have a ride or in a group i guess) But you all forget about that while swimming in the river in the morning and a modest breakfast to keep you company. Karbi was my guy there, he was the best help showing where is what, and keeping me company at times. He was the best thing about the camp. Booking was a breeze as well. November was still hot in the day, but you can always spend it swimming, kayaking or just chilling in Karbi’s lil eatery.
So we were 8 of us, and we took package of 1100/- per head which included meals and bonfire with bedding. I must say that the spot we were given is really great as it was far from public areas. It was private where only 8 of us were there with four tents. The overnight chilly breeze, bonfire, sky full of starts and sound of water current makes it a overwhelming experience altogether. The person helped us a lot and also the food was nice. A must experience!! And yes please spend a whole day. From morning to overnight.
