We were made very welcome. Maggie looked after us so well, - we were made to feel at home, - nothing was too much trouble for our hostess! The views from Cobden Farm are fantastic. If we were on holiday it would have been an ideal place to stay. So quiet and peaceful, so you can

It wasn't the best of February weather when you stayed, so we're extra-pleased that you enjoyed your visit to Cobden Farm B&B, Sabden Valley and the Forest of Bowland. It was good to meet farmers from a much warmer part of England where you can 'hear the grass grow...!' Thank you for coming to stay, and for taking time to write a review.

Don't be put off by the heavily pot-holed final mile of approach road and the rather ramshackle look to some of the farm buildings. Maggie has a warm welcome waiting for you and is a most obliging hostess.
The food is superb - from the scones on arrival to the huge variety avail

Thanks for coming to stay at Cobden Farm B&B and for your thoughtful comments which we appreciate. We're so pleased you enjoyed your breakfasts during your two-night stay and your welcome to our farmhouse B&B which, as guests know, is barely half-a-mile along a mainly Tarmac-ed farm road on a working, hillside, family farm with cattle and sheep, as we promote. Thank you for the comments about the bedsheets (a bottom sheet and a top sheet such as Sheridan or Dorma brands) which we wash and iron ourselves, using softener to make your sleep experience even more comfortable. It was an interesting point you made about our antique refectory table which has been the breakfast table for a number of years. I will follow up your comment by checking with other guests of a similar height to yourself. Thanks again for coming to stay, and hopefully we'll welcome you back to our B&B when next you return north.

We stayed here for a wedding on 1 July at Mitton Hall and wished we had booked in for longer. Maggie is the host and she was really welcoming with fresh milk and scones on arrival. The room was perfect...there are only two rooms on site so it's nice and quiet. Loved the locatio

"Only 2 rooms - both very good."
"There are only two - book early."
"The farm is some way off the road - but Margaret's directions are clear and helpful. Use the Post Code she gives you or your Satnav will take you to the next property about 200 yards away - across two steep, wet fields!"
