This is a magnificent property and the ambiance of the palace has been maintained when it was transformed into a hotel. We stayed in a lovely, antique filled room. There was a silk cover on the bed. The bathroom has been modernized with a marble shower surround. The service is wonderful, courteous and friendly. We especially enjoyed greeting and talking...

The most impressive thing, of which there are many, regarding this hotel is the remarkably beautiful restoration of this historic building. The amenities are perfect including the lighting, air conditioning, beds, elevator, restaurant and rooftop seating. The staff of this hotel, from the front desk and doorman to the restaurant, to the housekeeping staff could not be more accommodating. They...

Amazing, what a beautiful hotel. The architecture, the many places to sit in the lobby or on each floor - the food in the restaurant was always great and fresh. Good coffee! We loved the fact that is was an intimate, or few rooms, not like the big chains. The rooms were wonderfully decorated and had all the conveniences necessary....

The place is nice, much like on the site of the hotel. Not colonial style but rather 19th century Not extremely good taste but our room was nice, clean and pleasant What is not pleasant is that you do not feel in a real hotel : many people visiting the hotel, everywhere including at the door of your bedroom !...

This hotel is amazing because it is unique. Very few others can replicate what you find in this hotel. The furniture is all authentic and certified antiques. It is like visiting a museum where you can actually sit in the displayed furniture and dream of years gone by. The restoration done in this building is simply the best, there is...

This is one of the best hotel we have ever stayed at! A historic building with a beautiful atrium with an antique piano and gorgeous stairs. It's like a museum. The rooms were decorated in French-Mexican style and were huge and beautifully decorated with expensive furniture. The restaurant was great. Attention was exceptional. You could even have a Carriage ride...

Reserved two Junior Suites (Andres & Lucrecia) for three nights. Arrived late and the rooms were ready. The hotel is a 1600's gorgeous old family-religious sect mansion restored and re-purposed as an exclusive hotel and museum. It is an elegant place to stay in Centro SLP. In typical old Mexican historic mansion style, the street view does not ready one...

This is a really fine hotel. The building is a renovated historic mansion, with an elevator tucked away for convenience. The restaurant is also excellent. One of our best food experiences in Mexico (a long list) was the fruit and cheese basket they offered. And by all means take the tour they offer of the building - its fascinating. They...

Nothing like staying in a museum and receiving top of the line hotel service! The bedroom was perfectly decorated and the style was simply out of this world. Don't miss the complimentary guided museum tour that takes you through tunnel and an opportunity to experience history along with elegance! We will definitely stay here again.
