This was our 5th trip to Mexico in 5 years and our last attempt at an all inclusive. Previously stayed twice in the PV area & twice in the Mayan Riviera. Really fed up with the misbehaving drunks & playing the towel game to get a decent lounger around the pool or at the beach. I am happy to report...

We stayed on the 20th floor in the Club level at Las Brisas. This was our 6th visit to Las Brisas. The rooms are well maintained from the hotel's massive room renovations 3 years ago. The rooms now feature 2 complimentary bottles of water and a clock with an iPod player. Our bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked...

My wife and I returned to Las Brisas for a week in January after having been there previously in 2004. We were happy to see that the rooms have been enlarged to include a comfortable sitting area with lighting for reading, while retaining a spacious balcony with great views of the Pacific. The bathroom, floor tile and furnishings have also...

My husband & I have just returned from another wonderful visit to Las Brisas in Ixtapa. We extended our stay this year to 2 weeks so we could relax and enjoy, yet again, the wonderful indigenous architecture of the place set so considerately on the beautiful and private beach. Although the hotel is over 20 floors in height, it is...

We stayed for 2 weeks on the All Inclusive plan. Gourmet meals were fantastic without spending $20 extra for shrimp, lobster or lamb. Flambes (beef, deserts & coffee) in the Portofino restaurant were particularly indulging. Quite (private?) beach was great too. Swimming pools are some distance from the rest of the hotel complex, but there is a shuttle from the...

This has to be one of the best aesthetic experiences in the western hemisphere, with it's multitude of indoor/outdoor spaces, the access to lush rain forest nature, and the beach which for all practical purposes, is private. We have probably stayed there 10 times, and definately will return. It is a charming combination of architectural genius and friendly, helpful, wonderful...

My wife and I and two friends stayed at Las Brisas the first week of January, 2011. To say that it was great would be to understate the experience! First let me say that we used the all inclusive feature of the resort. We were not disappointed! The food at every one of the restaurants was 5 star quality. All...

HOTEL REVIEW # 180 Los Brisas MY TRAVEL STYLE: If possible, I try to stay away from business hotels and strongly prefer resorts that resemble the Four Seasons, Aman, and Oberoi but try to find similar properties at lower cost. I seek out the “wow” experiences and I encourage you to view hotels I have stayed at and their respective...

Stayed at Las Brisas December 11-21. Food excellent in all areas of hotels, not hard to see where it gets its diamond rating from. Went to Mexican twice, Itallian twice as well as the new Mediterannean twice. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Overall, I have to say that this was probably my favourite vacation of my recent 4 trips (Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, St. Lucia and now Ixtapa/Zihua).
