We are in our mid forties and have been to Ixtapa about 15 times . We found a really good deal on this hotel and booked it . We had been for cocktails before . The long and short of it . Nice , but smallish rooms with a nice balcony and a hammock . About a 20 minute walk...

Dear Guest: Thank you for your kind review. One of the advantages of the hotel besides our staff’s excellent service is the relaxed and private atmosphere you can enjoy during your stay. Other attraction is to watch the different species of flora and fauna around the property including the special place we have at the beach to preserve the baby...

The hotel have an old Spanish aspect: Don't expect luxury or any other extravaganza. Its a very large building in the middle of the jungle. The beach in nice, but can't get in the sea because it has a high tide always and a red flag. The pools are some kind of messy but most of all because of the...

With the peso over 13 to the dollar, it’s a great value right now to visit Mexico. We just got back from a five day stay and it’s still a favorite trip of ours. Booking through Alaska Airlines vacation packages, we spent less than $1,000 per person by using a companion coupon, flying first class, and getting our 4th night...

Spent a week at a nice All Inclusive for a week before checking in to Las Brisas. I was always intrigued by the allure of these complexes, but was very dissapointed. Expansive but sidewalked grounds...alot of walking to really go no where. Private beach is GREAT! But BORING! They bring you the beer, but expensive. All guests either think you...

My husband and I stayed at this resort earlier this year. Although we had a nice time together, by the middle of the week were started to count down the days until we went home. After reading the reviews we thought we found a great deal on a 5 star hotel, but came to find that all of the negative...

Just returned from our 6th trip to this hotel in 21 years. Everything was perfect. The resort and private beach are stunning, food is delicious, and service strikes the perfect balance of anticipating your every need while remaining invisible when you're relaxing. While sitting in our hammocks (Klein has placed the little table with our margaritas just far enough we...

We have been going to Las Brisas Ixtapa for 5 years now. It has always been during the summer, when the hotel and Ixtapa are not crowded. The personal attention we get at this time is really appreciated. The staff has always been the "best", very helpful and pleasant. We especially enjoy the "happy hour" at the Lobby Bar with...

We have been going to Las Brisas Ixtapa sinse 1999. After a 2 year hiatus, we returned. A bunch of things need to be said. The place is every bit as wonderful as before. This is a great place to stay in Ixtapa. Only issue is that it is located on a hill off the main beach with all the other hotels and restaurants. We've spent a week at Las Brisas Ixtapa every January since 2006, and have just booked for January 2012.
