Booked for one night as we were up in Windsor visiting friends. Truly dog friendly, no surcharge, outstanding service, great food, delightful staff and atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend it. They even brought the dog a little extra at breakfast!

Lovely room and welcoming staff. The breakfast which is included in the price is amazing and there are great touches to the stay (coffee machine outside room and a choice of flavoured tea in the rooms). We would without a doubt stay here again in the future when visiting Windsor! Highly recommend to all who need somewhere to stay when...

We loved this place! The room was exactly as advertised, and the adjoining pub was utterly charming with fantastic, attentive staff. Rooms were set back from the pub so there was no noise whatsoever. Breakfast was a delight - just the right amount and perfectly executed. Would strongly recommend this place to others.

The 2nd visit in a few months and is ideal for some tasty food and some great real ale. Set in the middle of nowhere so you need a driver and sat nav, however is definitely worth the visit with lovely, friendly waitresses and bar staff. Well within my company expenses allowance so will definitely be back...

I stayed here overnight as was working in the area. After reading plenty of positive reviews, I thought I'd give the Winning Post a try for my evening meal and overnight accommodation. The pub is cosy and most of the staff friendly and professional. My room was a good size with a full en suite bathroom and was clean and...

This is a nice pub, in a quiet area with rooms to the rear, away from pub noise. The rooms are very clean and decorated tastefully. The bed was comfortable and warm. There are nice little extras in the room, but we didn't like having to go into the communal area for milk for our teas and coffees. We would...

We only stayed one night - arriving quite late and leaving early - so I don't have a huge amount to say. It's a cute little pub with lots of atmosphere, and the food was good quality. It's got a decent-sized car park and the room was perfectly adequate (though there was a noise of running water in the night...

Had the best meal out in a long time last weekend, really recommend the sharing platter starter - delicious! Don t try the Valpolicella wine it was over priced and either corked or horrible. Nice atmosphere and really friendly informal staff which I like.
