Detailed Reviews
Im not so much of a nature person. So when my friend suggested visiting a farm as a "pre honeymoon trip", I wasn't all that excited.
Anyways visiting harvest farms , I should admit, brought out the nature lover in me.
The place is calm and serene and it was perfect for us, as we were the only guests visiting at that time. The seclusion kinda helped us to have lil filmy scenes at the farm😋.
Being a foodie, I absolutely enjoyed the food at the farm. As the name suggests, everything is super fresh and tasty. Kudos to the awesome cook and also the friendly staff who were always attentive to our needs. The farm house is the cutest cosy place!
In the evenings , my wife and I took walks around the farm. Through the pomegranate plantation and towards the end of the farm there's a huge pond and a watchtower over looking it. They also have a vineyard to be commenced , which prompts me for a second visit.
The place is also very safe. In the night we could see many security guards walking around to prevent wild animals from attacking.
In the end, it's the breathtaking mountain views from the dining table, the tastiest food and the friendliest staff that makes me wanna visit harvest farms again and also suggest this place for short weekend trips to my friends.
As a suggestion, I would say if they start a trekking option to the nearby hills, have us interact with the villagers or conduct basic lessons on organic farming for the backyard ; it will be a really good takeaway for the guests.

I visited harvest farms last year with my kids, grand kids and in laws and It was an experience of a lifetime.
Firstly it was the whole family being there together and secondly it's the very soothing atmosphere of the farm itself that added to our enjoyment. Me and my grandkids, even my mother in law enjoyed the place alike.
The farm is a perfect weekend getaway, the weather is soothing , the stay is cosy and the staff is friendly. What else do we need for a perfect holiday!
The food is another major attraction here. Everything is fresh and you can taste the freshness in all of it. We also had a bar b que party in the night and it was perfect. The staff at the farm is always attentive and they make sure that you have a perfect stay. Another part which I enjoyed a lot was the walk across the farm, being one with nature seeing the farm animals and the agriculture.
I would say the farm is a must visit with family. The place is so calm and away from the hazels of cities and I can assure that a visit will freshen you up.

A must visit if you enjoy fresh farm food . The pumpkin risotto was so delicious that I wished I had more space in my tummy to try some other exotic dishes . Full marks on the food and the ambience . There are several meat options too

Cycles not available in good condition, when asked for BBQ the staff said it's working. too many mosquitos in the evening and mosquito repellent not in working condition.
Separate charges for Bullock cart and Tracktor ride, which is too high.
Price is too high for food.

After driving through farms on a bumpy sometimes none existent road, Harvest Fresh Farms is a sight for sorry eyes, its a small paradise that appears out of nowhere. Currently they have only 2 double rooms, lounge and kitchen available at any one time. Simple breakfast (included) and a delightful dinner (have to order excluded) of traditional veg and non veg. A little work on the bathrooms is needed but easily fixed.
The staff very friendly and on hand at all times - we stayed 2 nights and although were out all day (in the nature park) had a very good stay - so far so that i will be looking for more Farm Stays on my next trip to India.

We have visited place but we couldn't find anything that feasible for the entry fees. they have collected 200 RS. entry fee from each person as we were a 4 member family. nothing to see there as we can more than that in a nursery. Please don't waste your time and money.

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at the farm. They were extremely accommodating of our kids and showed them all the aspects of the farm. They arranged a taxi one day for an outing and then another taxi for our onward journey. The food was tasty - simple and abundant portions! The surrounding valley is very beautiful and a short (but windy) ride into Thekkady. I'm glad we decided to stay here rather than in town.

We had a great visit to the farm as part of a day trip to Tamil Nadu, the farm is beautifully laid out and very impressive. It was great to see herbs, fruits and spices that we are very familiar with and learn more about how they are grown. The bullock cart ride was fun and much more comfortable when they are racing! The food used the farm’s Fruit and veg which was lovely but overall the food was disappointing, plenty of choice but not warm. There are rooms available for overnight stays which would be a real escape and a sanctuary of peace and quiet

I have mixed feelings regarding this place
Pros
Neatly maintained
Tasty food
Calm and peaceful atmosphere
Caretaker is well trained and courteous
Cons
Have to travel around 3.5 kms in a very lonely small and dark road to get there.
They have only one caretaker n a manager, finding them itself is a big deal! Rooms don't have phones too, you need to walk around the place and search for them.
The manager kept sulking when I told him some friends were coming to meet me (from kumily) for dinner. He kept saying 'outsiders not allowed' like it's some hostel. After much talk he agreed to open the gates and let them in only after he was told that they are a married couple! He made sure they left soon too. Kept bugging me saying the workers have to lock the gates and sleep and thus they have to leave immediately (it was only 9.45pm). They were barely allowed to stay for an hour.
The day I was leaving, I requested the manager to let me checkout late (around 5) since my return bus was at 8. He refused inspite of the fact that I was the only guest there and all other rooms were empty at that point of time (it's a small place with only three rooms).
Food is expensive, around 500/meal (non veg). There is no other restaurant nearby for several kilometres too!
No tv in the rooms too, only common area has a tv.
Transportation to and from the place is difficult and expensive.
Place seems a little insecure at nights. They don't have any security guards, caretakers house is far away!

Thank you for your feedback. Kindly be informed that since its a farmstay and as per our farmstay policy we are not supposed to entertain anyone other than the room guests. This is to protect the privacy as well as safety of people who are staying with us. We also recommend /suggest that in case of any additional guests if you are expecting to join you then you need to intimate us prior your check in date so that we can do the arrangements accordingly. The caretaker at the farmstay won't be able to take a call on such last minute changes as the safety as well privacy of the guest is his responsibility. Since the property is in a exclusive private location, yes there could be time constraints for support staff other than those who stay in the property. However we have always tried to do the best possible services with the available resources and we value your feedback in the right sense. We will ensure that we will implement a policy near future which would be flexible enough to avoid these kind of confusions. We would be happy to welcome you to our property once again
