Things got better and the place then improved in our experience. I think it may be difficult to please all guests.Best to go and then go back knowing what you will get. The food is good but desserts I felt were lacking, the cheese course...More

We stopped here for dinner after working in Penzance. The setting is running, the welcome friendly. The food is of high quality with great attention paid to detail. Absolutely worth the detour to eat here.

Very enjoyable evening at Gurnards. Tasty turbot main with chunky chips side and a delicious bottle of wine. I wasn't sure when I saw the bright yellow exterior- but don't judge a book by it's cover. Staff were friendly when we caught their attention.
