Getting there
Good for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The deluxe rooms (4th floor) were worth it, with balcony viewing the river. Large bathrooms with separate shower and WC. Great base for walking around the bridge area and finding restaurants. Good and large beds. Small minus: 2nd afternoon we wanted to make tea with the facilities in the room and bags were finished. Called reception, replied 'sorry we are out of stock'. We replied 'what happened with the HUGE tea bag stock this morning at the breakfast restaurant?' and 5 minutes later they brought more tea bags.

The room is nice and clean, beautiful view. Staff are very nice. Convenient store 7/11 is located in front of the hotel. Very convenient for tourists. But the room has very thin wall so a bit noisy, you can hear people walk and shut the door especially at night time. Apart from that every thing is perfect.

Very nice hotel and close to everything, rooms are very spacious and clean. The one staff member I met was really nice and upgraded me to a very nice suite with great view of bridge. The only issue I had was with the wifi it was really bad and inconsistent. Besides that very nice hotel and great value.

The hotel is very well located as you can see right next to the bridge. In the vicinity, also within walking distance, it has medium to very good restaurants. We arrived by car and were able to park directly at the hotel. If the parking spaces are full, you get a voucher and can park it vis a vis on the large bus parking lot. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is also getting old and you can see that. On the surface it is quite clean, but on closer inspection it has dust everywhere and is slightly dirty. The hotel is extremely hard of hearing and it almost seems like the walls are made of paper, so a quiet sleep is unthinkable. It also has restaurants on the other side of the river that host parties every night. All in all, I would rather take another hotel on my next visit.

Booked this hotel because it was central for my time in Kanchanaburi, was there for the Remembrance Day service at Don Rak war cemetery and it was right on the river near the bridge. You have the Jeath war museum next to it and places to eat but the hotel was lovely and clean the staff was very friendly it a hotel I would use every year for the Remembrance Day.

Great location – right in front of the River Kwai and adjacent to the famous bridge, both of which are clearly and beautifully visible from the balcony, day and night (the bridge is illuminated at night and changes colors). Room rates are reasonable, and there’s a 7-Eleven store on site."

The best thing about my room is the River Kwai bridge view from the balcony! I could just sit at the balcony and stare at the river and bridge for hours. The room is clean, comfortable, lighting is good, and all the staffs are super friendly. I just don't like the bathroom light though, it's too dark for me.

This is an excellent hotel. It’s located next to the River Kwai Bridge - it’s the perfect place to watch the train cross the river from a river view hotel room. The room prices are excellent - even cheaper if you book directly with the hotel, and not via an international online travel booking company. We included breakfast in our room booking - the breakfast was very good. The rooms here are very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We extended our stay here by an extra night because the hotel was so good. There’s a 7-eleven convenience store and an Amazon cafe located near the front foyer of the hotel.
