Very interesting first impression - the outside is quaint and quirky - well, it was started in 1411 - but the bedrooms and kitchen are more modern! The bar area downstairs has exposed walls dating back to the original. We had a very warm welcome having travelled all day, and they booked us in to the local pub for an...

The facilities were fine and everything was ok, just nothing overly special either, which given the look of the building from the outside is a shame. The decor in the bedrooms has a bit of an overall tired feel

We appreciate you taking the time to post a review and are sorry that your experience was not as special as perhaps you would have expected. We pride ourselves on making people feel at home and well looked after. Admittedly some of the rooms have been updated more recently than others but we do have an ongoing program of enhancements...

A first class service and stay at this B & B, good hearty breakfast each morning, staff very good and efficient. Good to have a hot cooked breakfast very tasty, each morning rooms very comfortable and well equipped, good central position for travelling to all parts of Cornwall. Shall be returning for my next break.

Warm welcome, JJ, Lyn, Faith and Tracy make you feel like you are one of the family. Lots of history. The family room is very convenient. The shower is powerful! But the tray shallow so watch for flooding. Great place to park yourself while visiting all the local attractions; just a short drive away from literally everything worth seeing.

A warm welcome during a storm set the tone. Beautiful building with lovely grounds, shown to the room and asked if it was OK. Advice on where to eat locally including a discount at the nearest pub of 10%. Wifi was great and streamed films on Amazon no problem and an absolutely brilliant breakfast set me up for a busy...

Wonderful ancient building on the southern outskirts of Lanivet. We received a warm welcome from the host, who told us about the connection between the Abbey and the Knights Templar. Fascinating! Lovely cosy bar area in the evening and a fantastic Cornish breakfast in the morning.

We had a lovely relaxing time, unwinding from a hectic day at work. We went out for a evening meal just down the road, easy walking distance to The Lanivet Inn. Very nice meal. We slept well in the lovely large room. Very, very good breakfast. Excellent service. Thank you JJ and we do hope to return again.

This quiet, charming B&B is situated in the heart of Cornwall. The rooms were comfortable and reasonably good and the beds firm. The hosts are very nice, friendly people. There is a short walk to the town where we had a pub dinner one evening. Very easy driving to see Cornish sights and towns - Truro, Penzance, St Michael's Island...
