I have just stayed at this wonderful B&B with my wife and 3 year old daughter. The location is excellent being just 2 minutes from the A30 yet the setting is quiet with beautiful woodland behind. The building is full of history with parts 600 years old and our bedroom had a view of the ruins of the abbey located...

Wonderful little spot outside of Bodmin. Our room and a quaint 'an suite' bedroom for our 7 year old. Great rooms with full amenities. Breakfast is a Huge plus +++ JJ is the landlord and will try and accommodate request. The bar has some great whiskeys 👍. My family would surly stay again & wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Set back from a main road on the outskirts of Bodmin, this historic property provided a great overnight stay during our journey to western Cornwall. Our room was in a rear annex and tastefully furnished with good facilities. The staff were very friendly and cooked an excellent breakfast!

Extremely lovely place to stay, , very handy for touring this area of cornwall, ease of access to main link roads, yet in a quiet by road, excellent parking, free wi-fi, good housekeeping, good food and cosy, well-fitted rooms. Hosts kind and helpful, always on hand. First class security.

This B&B is run by a lovely couple who ensure a warm welcome and enjoyable stay. Our room and en suite bathroom were clean and the bed very comfortable, I usually have trouble sleeping away from home but not this time. Breakfast is cooked to order with good choice and will satisfy all tastes. No pre-cooked , kept warm offerings...

Comfortable room and excellent service at this family run B&B. Breakfast, a great shower, large, tidy rooms, plus free wifi were all highlights. As was the handy location just off the A30, near a lovely village with one of the best fish and chip restaurants i've visited. Stayed 3 nights, with friends and would do so again as the location...

The photos on tripadvisor make St Benet's Abbey look nice, but place was huge disappointment. Room 9 was a real dump, even though it wasn't cheap. VERY damp, with mould everywhere, with a loo & tiny shower squashed into a very small closet-type space. No wifi, so had to sit in their rather unpleasant reception area to get the internet....

We arrived at St Benet's to find other New Zealanders (and relatives of the owner, JJ), also just arrived. This was an interesting and fun start to an excellent 4-night stay at the old Abbey, which we used as a base for exploration of the Cornwall area. The Abbey is well located for day trips along the north and south...

We were welcomed by the friendly Owner who showed us around and to our room. It was a good sized room with en-suite facilities and a comfortable bed. The staff were also friendly and very helpful. The dining room was spotless and the Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Location is good for visiting Eden Project, Bodmin Moor, Looe and Polperro....
