Landed up early before check-in time and waited through an hour by the pool for the room to be cleaned and assigned. But all was well after being given a few options to select a room.
The Kings rooms are bigger than the Queens, but the latter are modern in layout, fittings and finishing (so preferred). The beds are comfy but very springy. Water in the flush (loo) has serious refilling problems. Once flushed, it takes 10-15 minutes to refill. We had to call for a bucket of water. Some electrical fittings, and cupboard, bathroom fittings need repairing and periodic checking. Mobile network and Wi-Fi Internet is absent and difficult to find in the rooms.
Swimming pool is clean but it does get a bit of dirt from the trees around like leaves, twigs, dead lizard and insects etc. Needs a system to keep it clean.
They have a big open lawn and garden for banquets.
Entire staff from Reception, Restaurant, Housekeeping are all helpful, friendly and cooperative.
Food is great but some items overpriced. Menu items available through out the day. We truly enjoyed the fish fingers and Cheese Naan. Buffet, if available, the options are less but manageable.
Overall a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

It's a good property close to Mumbai that gives value for money. Clean rooms, decent food and good service. There are two parts to this resort. The main reception building and the one across the road, hotel buggy can take you there. Rooms in the main part are in a building while the ones across the road are in a shorter 2 storied structure. The restaurant is in the main building while there is a small cafe in the other one. There is a pool in both the parts of the resort. Overall, a weekend stay is perfect in a resort like this.

Pushp Vatika is a budget friendly resort that suits all kinds of travelers like;
1. Friends 2. Couples 3. Families
They have a swimming pool, game room and a good space where you can sit and bask in the glory of nature.
What I liked about Pushp Vatika is that they've taken adequate measures for COVID-19. They have sanitizers placed at different points of the resort. There's a special COVID room for any traveler showing Symptoms of sickness.
The food is amazing, good quality, good quantity and tastes well. Best part is that they've priced it very reasonably.
So if you're looking for your next weekend holiday, you know where to go.

Just 1.5 hrs drive from Mumbai, before the Expressway begins, on the outskirts of Panvel, is built this weekend getaway. Ideal for a large group, there are 7 rooms on the ground floor and 7 on first. These are booked for guests in blocks of 7. In short, you need to book the entire floor. There are no check-in or out formalities. The manager takes care of hospitality and stay. Rooms are decent. 2/3 bedded and spacious with basic amenities provided. The air conditioning may not be optimum in some rooms. A small swimming pool with poolside dining, huge lawn with cricket net, table tennis table and a bonfire area during the season, provide for enough fodder to keep you busy. At ₹900 per head for food, inclusive of all meals as per a set menu, dining seems to be a steal, albeit a little salty. So, if you have a big group and don't want to travel much, don't think twice - head to Pushpa Vatika for your share of fun and smiles.
