Me and my husband went for my 40th birthday and this hotel and the staff made our 10 day break so special it was a wonderful holiday. We would definitely be going back to this hotel in 2024. Thank you so much to the staff and customer relations team. 🙂 we enjoyed the spa facilities and we had a lovely upgrade to our room as a special gift from the hotel. Thank you.
Given the reviews we travelled with high expectations for what we'd find ahead of a one week stay as a family of four. Any reservations we might have had were quickly dissipated from the get-go. Rooms are spacious, clean and the double chambered family room works incredibly well, also doubling up on the bathrooms with the incredible walk in rain shower. The resort itself is huge with a large variety of things to do between the pools, games area, daily schedule of fitness & pool games, beach, spa, it's own aqua park and an incredible variety of eateries. A word of caution on the aqua park, these are slides with pace so there are (warranted!) minimum weight restrictions and for those going on the matt slide make sure you're firmly in position! There is also a smaller set of slides to cater for the younger ones. Every evening the resort organises externally sourced entertainment and the standard of the performers goes well beyond anything I've experienced at a hotel resort before. Any ideas we had about wanting to head outside the resort vanish as once we arrived at Lara Barut we wanted for nothing. The food was great between the buffet at the Zestful Bazaar (don't forget to look out for the dedicated bakery/grill room!) and selection of a la carte restaurants. For dinner you'll need to book for the a la carte options - and there are a couple of adult only restaurants - but this is straight forward enough between the app or by asking your own personal WhatsApp concierge (thank you Tugba!). For sheer coverage of food at any time of day this resort is going to be tough to beat. The coffee shop with its selection of pastries and savoury bites is a great place to head for a little sun respite and change of scene - again all included with your stay. The real jewel in this Turkish Delight are the staff. We have had the privilege of having travelled to a number of countries and I can honestly say we've never been met with the standard of friendliness the Lara Barut staff consistently exhibited. It's not just the WhatsApp concierge, it's anyone and everyone you may meet. For a resort that has such a large staff workforce huge commendation is deserved for the management in the culture they have engendered at the Lara Barut. The staff seem genuinely happy and are a pleasure to engage with. Special call out for Tugba and his patience supporting our larger party size of 6(!) families, to Martin and his tireless all-day hosting of entertainment, to Fatma our always smiling room maid and Salik (I hope I remember his name right!) the incredibly friendly buggy driver with his squeaky rubber duck. In summary, we had an amazing holiday that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend - we look forward to coming back before too long!…
this hotel is a credit to the Barut company - its one of the cleanest hotels i have had the pleasure to stay at - fantastic rooms over looking garden and so spacious and very well equipped ( I will miss that rain shower) The bar and restaurant staff always smiling and nothing is too much trouble for them. albeit it was a January break the entertainment was excellent . we will be back to this hotel as it made us feel so relaxed and wanted for nothing Thanks again to all the staff at this wonderful resort
We have stayed in many hotels in Turkey and always found great standards. The Lara Barut is one of the best, if not the best as far as value for money goes. Every employee is wonderful, especially Enes and Pekan. They work really hard and do their best to make everyone feel special. The food is first class, from the huge selection in the main buffet restaurant, to the beach cafe, the a la Carte and the patiserie. Thankyou to all the staff, we hope to return asap.
Our hotel was originally the Titanic but due to building work and alterations we was offered the Lara Berut And it was a fantastic choice Excellent in every department The hotel and amenities great
A fantastic hotel set in beautiful grounds, kept in immaculate condition. The food was varied, healthy and all dietary needs catered for. Rooms, spacious and comfortable with a mini bar replenished daily. The staff were exceptional with a special mention to Sahar and the team and Pekcan who was a pleasure to dance with whilst taking on his host duties at the bar with his lovely personable nature. Great holiday. Certainly worth repeating
This was our first overseas holiday for a few years and did not disappoint - it was everything we expected from a luxury 5* resort and more. The kids club is top notch, and food was always of a very high standard. The only drawback was around our child’s food allergies (dairy/egg/sesame). In general there were lots of options for vegan food (e.g. a variety of non-dairy milks), but not in the Bary Star kids section of the restaurant, where there were no dairy/egg free options - especially no suitable desserts. For instance a vegan ice cream (or iced lolly) option would make all the difference to stop us feeling guilty for eating sweet treats in front of our kid who couldn’t always do the same! We also didn’t actually check if the burger place had buns with no sesame seeds on, but if not then this would be a massive plus for our next visit here.. The labelling of allergens in the main restaurant was generally good but also a bit hit and miss - there was lots of allergy labelling but it wasn’t always fully correct e.g. plain spaghetti showed as having milk in it. Highly recommend to anyone considering this hotel, and we’ll be back again this year for another amazing stay…
10 out of 10 super friendly staff clean and nothing was to much trouble for them cannot give them enough praise facilties top notch Yucel to get a special mention and Recep and Tuna in recepton pool facilities were very good the service that we recived was excellent and they took time with us to understand our Scots accent while teaching us a Turkish word each day
Reception staff were great during my stay, Tuna Burak and “Junior Burak” always helped with any enquiries we had while there. House keepers are really good too room was always very well cleaned when requested. One thing I would like to see in the future is a wider range of British foods as that is a comfort for us while holidaying. Definitely worth the money we paid the grounds of the hotel are amazing and always very clean. We will be back in the future.
Seval and Atiye has been very helpful in guiding us enjoy our aerial yoga. We have a good time with friends and has been a good first time experience for me. The place and music has added a vide for it to be wonderful and convenient
