We stayed at Tendu Leaf during Dec 2019 (To Celebrate New Year) and I must say we made a great choice ! The place is surrounded by Greenery with a River passing by. Staff is amazingly polite and ready to serve you 24*7 ! Food quality is amazing and their spread is not boring, they surprise you with new dishes almost everyday ! The Cottages were clean with all details to the point ! Make sure to book Safari in advance otherwise you'll have to settle for Night Safari only. The Resort has no Plastic policy, hence they served RO / Fresh Water in Glass bottles, which was really a good gesture.
Additionally Manish (Manager) was great host, who made sure our group had a memorable New Year Trip ! Must for Stay if you are visiting Panna National Park or Khajuraho (Just 22 Kms).
* We were 5 Families , reached by road * We booked 5 Luxury Cottages for 5 Families * We had taken an option of all meals , which proved to be a right choice

The tendu leaf resort is located in and around forest area which is a perfect location to escape into the wilderness for fun, adventure and once in a lifetime memories.
The resort as we learnt has been made with completely eco friendly material including reused and recycled material. What could be better than that? Despite use of such material the property looks amazing and provides top notch comfort.
With so many different activities and vibes such as: (i) chilling and vibing at the magnificent tree house; (ii) the design and architecture with fountains and lighting; (iii) the different vehicles and rides offered by the hotel (driving an ATV, open and closed jeeps including a vintage WW2 jeep); (iv) lazying and experiencing at their riverside portion the alligators, fishes, birds and other marine animals of that geography; (v) amazing food and bar services; (vi) bonfires; (vii) pottery and so so much more to do.
Apart from an amazing property, the hospitality of the property deserves a special shoutout as well because of their warmth, promptness and sophistication which is intended solely to make the traveller have an exquisite experience. Also, a special mention is to the wide array of services that the hotel provides apart from people working at the hotel, you also have dedicated personnel in the hotel to guide you about all the nearby attractions along with experts on the panna tiger reserve, other parts of the forest, sundowner/sunrise spots, etc.
The rooms are very clean and sanitary with all the amenities that one could only expect in urban hotels despite being located in a remote area. In all it was magnificent experience and if you arent very constrained with the budget you should definitely book the Tiger Den Room of the hotel which is an entire villa for you with amazing views.

Wonderful resort situated directly at the Ken riverside. Beautifully developed cottages around a pond, very new and clean. Superfriendly staff, welcoming, helpful and service orientated. Rejju, one of the hotel safari-drivers, took us out on a morning safari, where we saw a tiger and a leopard. Amazing sightings and driving. He also took us on a sunset boatride on the river to enjoy lots of birdlife, especially kingfisher birds. We are so glad we spent time here, it enriched our India experience a lot! Our main requirement was an accessible room for a person with a physical disability. The hotel provided us with one of their rooms which has been modified. Overall the place is amazing with cottages made inside a forest just on the banks of the Ken river. The cottages are made of wood and the property has been designed as an eco-friendly and plastic-free place. The staff including the manager is extremely friendly and very helpful. The hotel provided food in our cottage as it was not possible for us to go always to the dining room. An observation deck overlooking the Ken river is the best spot. Our suggestions: The accessible room can be improved by providing toiletries within the reach of a seated person and having buttons that are not very hard and removing the stone partition in the shower area. The spa is also not accessible as it has many stairs. The electric vehicle needs to be widened so that disabled people can enter. We prefer food a bit less heavy like "ghar ka khana".

I had the good fortune to visit this luxurious Jungle Resort just on the outskirts of Panna, next to the river Kern. I am glad and still patting myself on the back that i made the decision to get here as this was on of the most enriching, splendid and mesmerising experiences I’ve had in life. This resort gives you the jungle feel from the get go and takes you on a journey you won’t experience in the hustle bustle of the cities. The serene and tranquil nature of the property coupled with the splendid views of the hills and the river make each day worth living in nature. The food is outstanding and the courteous nature of the staff is just exemplary. All amenities are readily available and a helping hand is just a call away. The kindness of the staff is almost palpable and the safari experiences provided are second to none. (Look for a certain Rajju ji) We had the rare good fortune of spotting a Royal tiger on the night safari and it will be cherished for a long, long time. This property is highly recommended to anyone looking to get an experience with the purest form of life. It is a Beautiful resort and a very peaceful location. The food is good and fresh. This resort gives a close to nature feel, very good hospitality and rooms and bathrooms were clean and hygienic. As it is a Jungle resort you can expect some insects and mosquitoes too (specially in rainy season) but that was in outside area only not at all in rooms. There were some frequent power cuts of few seconds in my room (Koel) but it was ignorable. Mobile signal (Airtel) coverage is fully available throughout the resort but no wifi and TV available in rooms (you will get a lot of time to spend with nature). Overall a Good stay and will surely visit again.

Tendu Leaf is the best resort in Panna National park when you consider location, Quality and Service. It is located just few meters from the Madla Gate at Panna National Park making it ideal. The built quality of the property is very premium and rustic which adds to the feel of staying in the jungle while maintaining modern facilities. Food quality was also very good. They were also very happy to make any additional food items for us apart from the standard buffet. On service part the did not say no for anything which is always an added bonus. Overall would highly recommend.

Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort was one of the best resorts we experienced in this segment in terms of luxury as well as customer service. The resort is situated about 5 mins from the Madla gate and provides the experience of greenery and serenity with a big resort area. We opted for the Luxury Huts, which was very spacious for our needs. The choice of items in the room was luxurious as well (We stayed in a luxury chain in Khajuraho for a couple of days, and ironically this hotel in Panna was way more luxurious in comparison). The resort is situated on the banks of the Ken river and allows opportunities for bird-watching within the campus itself. Sometimes it is the small things that matter, and it seemed that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating this resort, and the services. Some examples. The property has multiple seating areas with chairs and hammocks all around, so, even with a full capacity, it does not feel like a crowd. The room has a very strong coat stand, that was very handy for keeping all our safari clothes and jackets. There is a plant in the external shower area adding the look. The waiters always ensured that we liked the food and asked for feedback.
We would really recommend this to anyone wanting to have a relaxed holiday amidst nature.

Our families stay at the resort was for 2 nights on A.P. on 17 and 18 march 2022, My reviews are as follows 1. Since we were travelling in mid March it had to be really hot, so what we enjoyed in our Luxury cottage was uninterrupted power supply to keep the A.Cs on most of the time, however 2. Because of the heat we were forced to stay in the cottage during day time and what we really missed was a TV in our luxury cottage rooms, so as to keep ourselves occupied. This miss out was rather disappointing. Had i known its absence i would not have probably stayed there. It was boring. 3. Rooms were kept neat and clean the open air shower area was like icing on the cake. 4. Staff is polite, food is fairly good. 5. Commuting is easy as in house motored E-rickshaws are provided by hotel 6. Property offers a lot of activities but on payment, because of heat we could not make use of it. 7. Roohafza Welcome drink, i suppose should be replaced with, lassi/aerated drink/mocktail/thandai etc. 8. Overall Stay was uneventful, good and comfortable

After an initial issue with my accommodation which was swiftly and very professionally dealt with by the resort reservations manager , Mr Tiwari, my 5 day stay at the resort was extremely enjoyable . The restaurant was very spacious , bright and clean and well laid out with probably the best resort food i had out of the 9 different wildlife resorts I stayed at during my 7 week tour of India. All the restaurant staff were friendly , polite , attentive and eager to help and please. The resort is well laid out with a marvellous wooden deck overlooking the Ken river which was a perfect location for breakfast or morning coffee and afternoon tea. I found ALL the staff very friendly , polite and eager to help and were always smartly dressed . I was fortunate enough to be staying at the lodge during which they held DIWALI celebrations , to which I was invited . Thank you . If it wasn't for the professionalism of Mr Tiwari , I may not have remained at the resort and would have missed out on a wonderful stay , and possibly missed out on the amazing TIGER sightings I had during my 6 safaris at Panna Tiger reserve .
