I travel a great deal for business and try to avoid the large brands as they are sterile and offer nothing different. I stayed at The Fox Inn on 24th May and it was great. From the minute I stepped into the pub I was greeted with a warm welcome and shown to my accommodation. The room for the money...

We hadn't visited for some time due to being out of the area and time constraints but nothing has changed. Still exceptional service great wine and ales and lovely food. Would always recommend. Go for it.

We have eaten here a few times but only for a Sunday Lunch, the food is always lovely and its a great home cooked roast. Staff are really friendly and always helpful nothing is too much for them. The food is good quality.

We have eaten in here a few times now and have to say that the food, service and whole experience is without fault for us. It is always pleasant surroundings in The Fox, comfortable and friendly. The food is definitely better than other places of the same ilk. Specially recommended is the Calves Liver, which is always excellent and plenty...

Went here for dinner with 2 female friends, mid week so not busy but very pleasant. Had the soup with french bread for starters which was excellent. Our main meals were ok and there was plenty of choice. Only slight disappointment was the lack of choice for dessert but overall I would definately go back.

The Olde Worlde nature of The Fox Inn adds to the atmosphere and it is a delight to know that you are part of a centuries old tradition of excellent catering at this coaching inn. Lunchtimes are popular with the older, retired set, and there are times when the main restaurant area is full, so do book in advance. Food...

A lovely friendly pub . Beautifull settings and suitable for all ages. We visited in a large group and had a potty training toddler with us . The staff were very accommodating as I asked for a non cushioned chair, just incase. Food was great with a large selection to choose from. Staff were friendly. This pub has rooms and...

My family took my husband and I to The Fox for dinner. A beautiful and quaint 17th Century Coaching Inn, it is everything you'd expect from a country Inn in the U.K. However there is a difference to the usual Inns one would expect here. The food! Oh my! Plentiful and yummy doesn't come close. I don't usually eat a...

We booked a family room as we had to look after our grandchildren overnight. The room was very clean, we had a double bed and the grandchildren shared a sofa bed. Continental breakfast was provided in the room, cereal, juice and croissants. In our opinion they should get a new supplier for the croissants as the ones we had were...

Stayed last night while visiting Harlow for a 50th birthday party and so glad I found this place! Accommodation (twin room) was wonderful and had everything we needed - very clean, beds & bed linen very comfortable. We had a fridge which contained fresh milk, croissants, butter and ham plus a selection of cereal, tea & coffee. We had the...
