This hotel is sub-standard in every category: ugly, dirty, mismatched furniture, disgusting towels and linens, dangerous lighting, whining bathroom fans, sewer smells. There isn't anything redeeming about El Hotelito, and there are many other choices in the beautiful city of Puebla.

You get what you came for, basically. The rooms are wide and well-equiped (mine has TV, Microwave oven, freezer etc), the beds are confortable, the wi-fi is good too. There is a somewhat cheap cafe on the side to fill in your food needs and the hotel itself is pretty cheap, given what you get. You don't get breakfast though...

Four blocks away from central square (cathedral, restaurants, etc.) Not so quiet but quiet enough to get some sleep. You get for what you pay (3 stars) but a very good hotel for a short stay. Highly recommended.

We stay at this hotel last year. All the employees were very nice, the beds comfortable and away from the noise! We stay at the second floor and the view was nice when it was raining. Also the guy in the front desk help us with directions and recommend a great restaurant for us, even take care of our luggage...

The cockroach scurrying across the bedroom floor as we arrived set the tone for the visit. This was compounded by filthy net curtaining and a grimy vestibule. A very basic room decided us to look elsewhere so we movbed out.

We were extremely tired when we arrived and were not able to change the hotel because of the late hour but we should have. The room stunk like a sewer because of a problem in the bathroom that should have been fixed before renting the room. The bedspread was dirty, torn and looked like something you might find in a...

My husband and I stayed at El Hotelito for a week over Christmas. It was good value and in a great location. You definitely get what you pay for, and while our room was large with a small fridge, the bathroom needed work done. The staff are extremely friendly and eager to help.

I used to stay here a lot up to two years ago when it was a good deal. But now, not even it's perfect location and fantastic staff can save this place. The hotel has fallen into disrepair: some walls are cracking due to humidity problems, furniture is exceedingly tired, and faucets have developed buildup that impedes good water flow....

Great value , small hotel in the center within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Taxis are cheap and readily available. My daughter was sick and the staff treated her like their own. Clean streets and colonial style buildings make for lovely walks around town.

We had a reservation for two nights; we stayed one, and wished we could have gotten out earlier. Our room, on the second floor, had roaches and did not smell good. The hot water handles didn't work on the sinks, the air was bad, the bathroom was up a steep step, and the bedspreads were kind of disgusting--we removed ours...
