Unfortunately it was just a one-night-stay because the rooms were perfect, spacious with an outstanding architecture. Moreover, this amazing hotel counts one of the oldest elevador in all Mexico. It might not be as fast as the new ones but its was for me an experience itself. About the breakfast, it was delicious and we had more food that we...

Close to "Zócalo" excellent for medium size groups. Restaurant food is excellent. Try the traditional "Mole Poblano" any time or "Chiles Enogada" around September month. I will definitely return. Not for luxury travelers. Excellent for people that doesn't require a fancy room to enjoy their stay.

I recently stayed almost 2 weeks at this hotel, staying in rooms on all 3 floors. The staff is top notch. The food was honestly the best I had in Puebla. I tried to eat at least one meal a day there. I tried several of the fancier restaurants in Puebla, which typically tasted worse, were much more expensive, and...

I spent 2 weeks in the Colonial a few years ago, and have spent a few days off and on since then. The Colonial is just steps away from the historic center of Puebla and many of the local attractions and restaurants, but just far enough away that it remains a quiet sanctuary -- at least until summer, when the...

Spent two nights at this very nice hotel. It was convenient. Rooms were reasonable and comfortable. The location was wonderful. The central square and shopping were a block away. Access was easy. Service was terrific and there was clear evidence of a willingness to help or answer questions. The restaurant was great for breakfast. Eatery options were plentiful surrounding the...

I left my passport, cash, and Tablet in the safe. I am very happy to report that it was waiting for me! The hotel is great for hanging out and eating! The Plaza is a great spot to walk around and people - watch. I'm returning on my way back from Oaxaca!

The hotel is well located a few short blocks from the zocalo. Our room was very large, had ceiling to floor doors which opened onto a small balcony, was very clean, and was quiet at night. I would recommend this hotel, if you are looking for a charming, locally owned hotel, as long as you don't need a hotel concierge...

I stayed for 2 nights here with a couple of friends, so we booked a room for 3 which was actually big, the place was clean, maybe the only drawback was that the matresses were old so they weren't that firm. Besides that everything was ok, the food at the restaurant was nice, it's perfectly located, and a bonus which...

I arrived with a small tour group. Our rooms weren't ready, so we were directed to go in to lunch. It was a set meal. There were two other tour groups, no individual customers. There seems to be a reason, but I'll go into that in a review of the restaurant. By the time lunch was over, more tour groups...
