After an exhausting drive from Morelia we nestled into our very cool room with a fantastic king size bed. The furniture is wonderful and an interesting collection throughout. Dined downstairs after walking around looking for an alternative location to eat at. We loved this hotel and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and it was nice to feel enclosed...

This is a great hotel if you like quaint places. I loved the decoration and unlike a previous post, I was not put off by the price tags on everything. On the contrary, I kind of liked that it was an antique shop/hotel/restaurant. The service was excellent... people were very attentive. One thing I would say, there was a smell...

We were facing a cancer diagnosis and in an attempt to escape and enjoy life, we went to Meson Sacristia. All I can say is everything was the best. This is the real Mexico. The room was charming, the breakfasts were perfect and delicious, and the cooking lessons were awesome w/ both Alonso and Lizbet being the nicest people you...

I don't know the difference between a fry pan and a sauté pan so you may ask why did I do a trip that included cooking classes - for the hubby - this was a special treat for him and I ended up really enjoying myself. The hotel itself is a converted 16th century former Spanish colonial residence and has...

I have stayed elsewhere in Puebla and looked at places that seemed attractive on-line but turned out to be too distant from the center, closed, or misleading - (names upon request). Enjoy this beautiful city in this beautiful, perfectly managed small hotel - with great food!

We stayed a week at the Sacristia, drawn to it by a 5 day cooking school (3 hours each day for 5 days). The cooking classes were superb. The classes were from 10 to 1:00 each morning. As luck would have it (and being the off season), we were the only students. The head chef Alonso and his assistant/translator Lizbet...

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the room was big and nicely decorated. The hotel is original and the staff is nice. Breakfast is good We stayed there on Xmas day and boxing day so the restaurant was close in the evening and there was no music playing, however if you come at another period I would be careful...

This is an absolutely charming hotel located on a small street near the city center, but far enough away to be quiet. Beautiful decor and room finishes from the original house...heavy wood doors, brick floors, talavera tile. The best part is the big skeleton key to lock your room. We were in #2 which was in the back. Breakfast was...
