A comfortable, clean and the most central inexpensive place to stay and sleep in downtown Puebla. Located one block and only a minutes walk from the Zocalo and central Puebla, Hotel De Talavera is perfect.

A clean, very well-located budget hotel. Lovely service at the front desk, parking down the street (but free). Sparse breakfast, but also free. Good internet connection. They could use new linens (rather threadbare), but otherwise we had serious complaints about the hotel.
Stayed 3 nights for a baseball tournament, WiFi very slow, too loud everything echoes, TV channels don't work, no A/C , no elevator, friendly staff... close to center of town, close to many stores, restaurants etc....will probably not stay here again.
Our shower had no showerhead. The staff said they were not aware of it. Offered to switch us to another room that had a broken window. Decided to stay in the same room and just used the bathtub, you have to request the bathtub/ drain...More
