If you are a beach person this is a perfect place as a private boardwalk links hotel and beach. If you are travelling over to the island as a foot passenger, the connecting bus stops right outside the hotel. If taking a car, there's parking at the hotel. I was warmly welcomed and given lots of (verbal) information about the...

The rooms are quite large but are a bit dated. The place is clean and well equipped but if you want modern facilities this is not the place but it is probably as good as most on the island. Staff are friendly and the pool is fine and it is right on the beach.

lovely motel spacious rooms, king bed would have been lovely, beautiful outdoor areas, pool and bbq areas throughout complex, short stroll to beach along designated boardwalk. Eatery next to motel has excellent food, foreign workers are a bit short on the english language though. Complementary live music added to the beach atmosphere....even though the motel rooms are a bit dated...

Great location, very clean and all you would want, staff fantastic. A lovely walk to the beach and to local pub, which is a great place to watch the whales. Would stay there again, and highly recommend to other travellers.

We rented a three bedroom apartment for three nights. The apartment was enormous with three balconies and beautiful views. It was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The only downside for some may be the amount of steps to our apartment but this was not an issue for us as it was great exercise. The managers and staff were very...

We have stayed twice now. The room is comfortable and has a good view. The walkway to the beach is very pretty and makes the stay nice as you don't have to walk far or over the road. Cylinder beach is lovely for young kids. It's also great to have the pool.

I spent a night at the Anchorage in July 2015 with my mother and sister. We would have loved to have stayed longer! We had a spacious apartment and everything in the room and around the grounds was very well maintained. We happened to stay during unusually chilly weather and the lovely staff happily provided extra blankets and heaters so...

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at the Anchorage. On arrival we were greeted in a very friendly manner and luckily our room was ready-bonus. It was a one bedroom unit with a balcony that overlook the pool and gardens and you did have a view to the beach which is accessible via a boardwalk-straight onto a beach. Was...

We stayed at the Anchorage at the end of February 2015. The location of the hotel is very nice, only a short walk from the beautiful beach. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the quality of our 2 bedroom apartment as it was nothing like the images and floor plan shown on their website. Sliding doors to the balcony were...
