Went here for lunch as it really is a beautiful spot, but only 2 out of 8 meals served were enjoyable. The rest were either totally bland , tasted like it came from a jar or overcooked. Service was rude, the waitress at the bistro actually walked away to do something else while my husband was ordering the food! We...

After spending 27 years growing up in Brisbane but i have never been to North Stradbroke until this week. It's a great spot. The Straddie Hotel is an iconic spot located equidistant between Cylinder and Home Beaches. It's well equipped and modern, the staff are friendly and the position great. Can't recommend it enough if you are going to Straddie....

We traveled to enjoy our 10th anniversary and upon arriving at our room to find it was just finish cleaning,as we walked into the room I casually tried to shut the toilet door and found it was a problem.I called back the cleaners and told them to which they replied"yeah we know they know about it and haven't fixed it...

I had always wanted to stay at this hotel and was very excited when I received a weekend here as a gift. However, I was incredibly disappointed. Let me start with the positives - the location is excellent, the rooms are clean and consistent with being a 3 star resort - they are a little worn but generally fine, the...

This superbly located property offers a wide range of accommodation from studio style up to very spacious 3 and 4 bedroom apartments. The finishes are excellent and the apartments can be the base for a really great holiday given the on-site and nearby facilities including a short walk down to the beach. Pricing seems expensive but travellers need to understand...

3 nights in this beautiful location. The food was okay but the kitchen was about to be renovated and a new menu about to appear. Every staff member was friendly and they have a great resource with Scarlett if you want a massage. We had a great time. Rooms were well appointed and clean. A wonderful stay.

Caught the car ferry from Cleveland for a 45 minute trip across Moreton Bay then a 20 kilometre trip to our destination by car along a scenic road. On arrival at the Beach Hotel we were checked in by a very happy, friendly member of the staff. The hotel has three floors and the top floor accommodates 14 rooms. Next...

We had dinner last night at the hotel. Very disappointed to say the least. We requested a table in the restaurant and were told that it was fully booked despite the fact that several tables remained empty the whole time we were at the hotel. We eventually found a table vacated by a family with young children. Table was filthy...

I stayed with my son in January originally for 4 days and then we extended another 4. The staff in the bar and restaurant were fantasti, and the food was ok but limited menu and the restaurant hours were confusing and not set.I would stay again in a different room type.
