The Wairoa Motel was the best experience we have ever had with a motel. Ruben is a great guy and good for a laugh. Very Friendly and makes you feel so welcome. The units are clean and excellent. No traffic noise. The swimming pool was a welcome site after our long motorcycle ride. A nice easy walk to town too....

While you can see that the previous owner had let this gem down, the new owner is going all out to make this gem sparkle again The rooms are very clean as well as being fully equipped but most importantly the staff are total stars

The room was clean and everything that you needed was there. (pots, dishes etc) Wi-Fi was sketchy. Didn't work all the time . When it did, it was fine. A few problems that were fixed right away. Quiet place to travel from.

Thank you for your review, and for your feedback. We have since moved our WiFi "booster" and this appears to have solved the problem with patchy WiFi. Your feedback helps us to make everybody's experience at Wairoa Motel more enjoyable... it is in-valuable, and very much appreciated, thank-you! Reuben.

Easy to find in the town and management and customer service was excellent. The room price was excellent and the rooms were clean and functional. The facilities are self contained service with a large functional kitchenette and large clean bathroom.

So booked in by others for a sporting weekend - a pleasant surprise, in a family unit with all we needed. Ordered a meal - delicious!!!I decided to stay a further night on my own before travelling home and My luggage was transferred to the new room. Decided to cook my own meal, needed butter and happily supplied by owner!...

This motel was fabulous. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Close to main town and managers were very warm and welcoming. Reasonable rates. Swimming pool. We only stayed overnight on way through town but would happily have stayed longer. Highly recommend this venue
