After quite a stressful couple of days that could have ruined our idea of Puglia and its people, due to the way we have been treated by the owners of a place in Savelletri, we arrived at Badia del Casale where Cosimo welcomed us. The place is amazing. Spotless rooms, great setting, amazing taste and endless hospitality. This place is a little gem. Alessia is one of the best host we had the pleasure to meet. She prepares super abundant breakfast and tasty cappuccinos. She cares about her guests and makes sure they feel at home and they have absolutely everything they need. Cosimo is a great chef. The first night we stayed there we had dinner in the garden. A five course dinner with fresh fish and local recipes. We were unlucky with the weather so didn't have the chance to use the swimming pool but even with the rain we loved staying at Badia del Casale! An experience I would recommend to everyone that travels in Salento! We will be back!…

After a friend's wedding further up the coast, we chose this little corner of Puglia as 'they say' it has some of the best beaches in the area. After a long drive we eventually arrived at this charming little place to the warm welcome of Cossimmo. Both my wife and I are big fans of up-cycling and rustic design and outdoor spaces, so we settled in quickly into this fantastic little find. It's been carefully designed combining the right balance of old and new, wild and manicured and with wonderfully rugged grounds that surround the main building, the setting was perfect. The first night we had a fantastic meal in one of the charming outdoor patios under the stars with a endless selection of tasty treats and local wines. The second night we found a great Agriturismo nearby. Breakfast was served in the back gardens, overlooking the sea and was again super tasty.
