We stayed at this hotel for one week. The private beach is so amazing and clean, there is a beach bar and you can have breakfast with the see view and drink some cocktails. The rooms are normal and quite clean , BUT the food was really bad, there weren’t salads and fresh vegetables, the food was very fat and unhealthy (

We stayed at this property for 14 GG: the sea is beautiful, crystal clear, Caribbean I would say... the structure is overlooking the sea and these are definitely its strong points!👍 The Resort is definitely maintenance free: our room was equipped with a fantastic 80s Dolomites style carpet that collected a lot of sand when we returned from the sea. However the cleaning ladies went out of their way to clean the room properly. The structure, equipped with a salted pool, observes a singular regulation: it can be used only 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon (something never seen in a tourist resort) and especially with the use of headphones (mahh). The whirlpool adjacent to the pool, turned off even at 11.30 ... The gym, decent and air conditioned, does not have a separate entrance, as it has access only from the pool, then following its schedules, uncomfortable, as in the central hours of morning / afternoon you go to mare.Luckily the receptionist staff is friendly and helpful and with us has always tried to facilitate access to the gym. Long lines at the restaurant, with a waiter in charge of the second, rather careful so that the customers of the HTL did not put on too many pounds: a small slice of meat or fish, considered them more than enough! Great waiting staff and metre.Animation without experience: young guys, nice, but not up to '... Very nice lifeguards. In short, for those seeking sun and sea, here is Paradise... but lower your claims...

A week, beautiful sea, white beach, nice animation , friendly and not always too invasive, room discreetly furnished, shame the doors that need to be redone, excellent and plentiful breakfast, lunch and dinner with ups and downs we talk about the highs, the first really always good, the lows I would say represented by the buffet of cold appetizers, not always up to 'equal as the second (too many sandwiches, spinach etc etc etc.)... all buffet.
Cleanliness of the room, nothing to say, I just have to thank the lady of the floor.
Maybe outside a little more attention to dirt, I personally collected a dozen plastic bottles abandoned for days at the entrance of the tennis courts... too bad!
Thanks again to Mr. Marco who handled very well a situation that could become worrying.
Thanks to the maintenance gentleman who solved a couple of small problems in the room.
We had a good time it was a nice week!

We stayed at this place (because Resort you absolutely can not talk) from 01 to 08 September and we were 2 and a half days stuck in the room by food poisoning along with another 50 or so people who felt sick in those days. I spent the whole night between Tuesday and Wednesday in the emergency room with other guests. The reception continued to justify talking about a virus of children when obviously it was intoxication (PS in fact wrote on the discharge sheet gastrointeritis and non-infectious colitis) due to the poor quality of food as well as the hygienic conditions in the kitchen at this point.
The only thing that saves this structure is the spectacular sea and the kindness and helpfulness of the poor guys who work in the canteen, because talking about restaurant would be a compliment, and the animation guys. For the rest: it smells like a canal near both the beach and the structure, no showers and baths on the beach, no foot washing, no amphitheater, the restaurant looks like a canteen and there reigns total confusion. You have to do the treasure hunt to find buffet dishes, little variety and only botched things to recycle leftover food and mask bad food.
Value for money no comment.
I've been wandering around villages for 25 years and I've never had anything like this happen to me.

The Poseidon beach was a disappointment, strong point Caribbean beach and crystal clear sea are from 10. The entertainment team (young, nice and polite guys) are fantastic, the structure is dated, the food is bad except for the last day, embarrassing I would say, the cost of the stay does not reflect neither accommodation nor food. I have to thank Marco and all the guys in the restaurant, really professional. Don't go to the Poseidon of Ugento tower san Giovanni, with that 1800 money there is better in Puglia, especially at Caesarean port and bear tower

As strengths have the sea, the beach and the friendliness of the boys in the food room.
Now let's start with the weaknesses. I will often use the word ‘embarrassing’ or synonyms.
Cost of living that absolutely does not reflect the quality of Food services and accommodation.
The food would be reviewed for choice and quality (repetitive and really scarce at times). I think I've never eaten so badly.
General poisoning in the middle of the week but I'll come back to it.
We stayed in an independent exterior. Very well parking with personal gate but honestly I do not understand why in the room take showers that do not close in 2024 (continuous flooding especially with children) and air conditioning that works jerky.
Going back to the famous week we stayed (1-8 Sept) there was a general intoxication (including us) in which any person interested in the customer would have remedied by apologizing or if you wanted to make fun of us well at least giving away something of the extras (see the 3 cokes immediately counted at 3.50 each a can).
They then work like Ryanair: if they organize the Caribbean evening they turn with garlands at 2€ each (speculating on those too), Salento evening rattles for sale at 3€ each and so on .. A hateful scene to which the animators submit.
Customer care equal to 0 so they're comfortable that they have other customers ready to go and fuck if those present do not retain. Memorable the last evening with we were told that began sweet buffets of thanksgiving at 21.15-21.30 .. At 21.45 they were already dismantling so those who delayed ran out.
The animators are screaming kids (on the beach to increase depression concert of Ultimo a palla continuously).
Overall I am sorry because it is not tourism this but simply loot people and wait for the next week's turnover. Good luck to those who go hoping for luck.

An experience that could have been normal if it had not been, right from the start, tainted by the lack of professionalism of a person who called himself director, already on the first evening, with a pedantic air, trying to give himself a tone with his inseparable cigar, treating us guests disdainfully, from the stage of the "theatre", he is keen to point out "report the problems to me, don't write them in the reviews", a prelude to what would happen shortly thereafter. Rooms with sand, ants and a cobweb that kept us company for a week, kitchen (Cannavacciuolo would say nightmarish) I say forgettable, poorly assorted and very approximate food preparation, the memory of a dark brown fry cooked in burnt oil to be the envy of my car after the trip, it will remain indelible in my mind, without commenting on the treasure hunt to find a table, organized for every lunch, dinner and breakfast. Creepy celiac chapter: my celiac daughter had to eat rice for two consecutive lunches, from the third, following our complaint, they prepared different pasta shapes for her (rice was much better) upon requesting French fries only on the last day they gave her hope with a "yes" from the chef, too bad we are at home but she never received the chips. We paid whatever, in this respect I must say that they are a well calibrated money machine, shame about the lack of foresight, because I believe they have neither professionalism nor capacity for customer loyalty. Poor communication between the departments: we took a gazebo in the front row on the beach, paid handsomely, so initially we were allowed to use it even on the day of check out (Sunday) but precisely at that moment, following our cordial communication at the reception, the "manager" says: "no one can make decisions without my consent, if you want to use the umbrella today you have to pay a supplement". In conclusion, structure not equipped for celiacs (be smart enough to refuse such requests, especially when they are made in writing as in our case, especially when it comes to children, you are not up to it!), cleanliness of rooms to be reviewed, floor in front of the theater smooth and slippery (when wet it becomes very dangerous), audio theater (no comment), room (restaurant) and reception operators (want to work, jump on me), Rocco from the bar is a good, polite and kind person, entertainment ok, thanks to Davide and Samuele guys truly special, beautiful sea, nice beach.

Holiday to forget!
Village not recommended,
The only positive note is direct access to the sea.
We stayed full Pension in this terrible property,
Bungalow family solution.
The room with very old fixtures as for the floors, rusty refrigerator,
replaced the following day, fortunately.
At the sides of the double bed there are no sockets for electricity, to turn the light on or off you have to get out of bed and the mobile phone if you want to charge it you have to leave it on the desk or on a stool at the entrance of the room.
Sunday night, Monday night begins the nightmare.
The restaurant like a military canteen,
unpleasant smell as soon as you enter the room, very low food quality, buffet for both the choice of menu and
level of health and hygiene notifiable,
cutlery thrown in the bin
where everyone puts their hands,
red lamps at the buffet that do not even make you understand what 'is the food underneath, or various flan made with leftover food from the previous meal.
So arrived on Sunday, Monday evening after dinner begins my ordeal, vomiting and uninterrupted dysentery for 5-6 hours.....
I was terrible..... all week
Spent eating white rice, toast and apples only on request, tea and rusks among other bad.
I tried to eat the chicken, of course I found a hair in it, after everything happened, they still didn't have any attention.
Tuesday night anyway
ambulances at the entrance,
animation guys and a lot of guests with vomiting, fever, diarrhea some ended up in the hospital.
All this until four in the morning and then every day of the week.
Worse than the pandemic.
Also there is a tremendous stench of sewer that they say is the sulfur of poseidonia.
It is not sulfur there is an open sewer practically next door!!!!!
In the morning around seven inspectors of 'Asl, hygiene office around the structure to take samples of water and food whose results, of course, once home.......
Wednesday my son starts too
with fever and vomiting, and Thursday my husband.
Basically we spent our holiday with terror and buying medicines for the whole family.
But the disconcerting thing is that after all this no one from the facility, gave a speech to everyone, explained what was happening, they continued as if nothing was happening.
After practically the whole village was in terrible shape, they didn't even have attention in choosing less elaborate dishes for those who still had nausea, stomach pain, the only alternative rice and pasta blank.
In the pool and on the beach there was practically no one!!!!!
Balance of the holiday at check-in, after I understood why this policy.....
Animation:
Hawaiian evening, they had the courage to ask two euros for a garland after paying a holiday of 2000 euros,
I asked for the ping pong rackets, the head of the miniclub annoyed at my insistence told me that I could only use during the hours of the absurd miniclub,
In the afternoon I take the rackets practically destroyed, this, moreover after suspending animation activities for a day, because all intoxicated.
Not to mention the rides and the break room, in poor condition.
They kept claiming all week, it was a gastrointestinal virus,
Instead, it was staph intoxication gastroenteritis.
I forgot zero beach care, sunbeds always dirty as the beach.
Not to mention the showers,
they only work simultaneously and there is no hand shower for the feet, every time it is almost a mandatory shower.
I have a degree in cultural tourism sciences, and all of this really angers me, skyrocketing prices for bad services,
zero attention to detail,
This is the reason why Italians go abroad.
Pretty much all shameful.

Beach Resort quite concentrated. Nice sea suitable for children, kind reception but poorly organized. Power failure all the time and air conditioner that was not good every time the power was out. Average catering but always the same and repetitive side dishes without much choice. Small rooms and not very clean. they charge the dheor but it is very hot it is not worth booking because there is not even air conditioning and anyway you always have to go to the restaurant to get food. Poor animation with few guys who knew how to do very little and sometimes annoying. Every day there was a stench of sewer coming from the country sometimes unbearable. Not recommended
