Cabo Azul rooms, grounds, food, staff all Great! Pools are amazing. Bed superfine, some of the heavy furniture inside and out handsome, but not so comfortable. Beach is for walking; riptides mean no swimming. San Jose del Cabo town and ambiance less crowded and more laid back than Cabo San Lucas. Highly recommend.

A-1 property! Lovely room decoration - but the pools that slope down to the sea are the main attraction. The hot freeform spa (?) at the top has water cascading down over a cliff and is great to relax in. I loved the fire pit in the middle of the top pool which is certainly more than adequate in size.... More

We stayed here for our anniversary and we LOVED it. There was excellent service at every location. Our rooms we clean and romantic. The pool area was perfect with the pods to escape the direct sun. The only bummer is that the ocean is off limits to swimming due to dangerous rip tides

We were disappointed we couldn't swim at the resort (very rough high tide), but that is where the disappointment ended. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful and very attentive; there was always someone available to answer a question or get you whatever you wanted, even late at night or early in the morning. I won't name anyone for fear of... More

Unbeknownst to us, we arrived at the very modern Cabo airport on the day of the Ironman competition. )The toll road was closed for the event which meant that traffic to San Jose to Cabo was at a complete stop. After renting a car from Fox at the airport (renters must buy mandatory Mexican liability insurance), the normally 15 minute... More

My wife and I have enjoyed our stays at Cabo Azul every year since they opened. The grounds are very clean and laying by the pool is very relaxing. The deli was kind of hard to find but we found out how good the food was and decided to go back a few times. The one person at the Deli... More

I love it here. I go once a year and totally relax. It is so clean and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful! I even bought a timeshare. The restaurant there is so so but you can also take a cab or walk to the nearest restaurants for variety. Overall, this place is a treasure. I love it... More

Amazing location, service and luxury. Will definitely be back. The grounds are impeccable and the pool area is very inviting and well kept daily. The fires around and in the pool in the evenings are a very nice touch as well. Great service by everyone there. The food could be upgraded and higher caliber for such a beautiful resort however.

First, this was no doubt the most serene and customer focused resort we have ever been at especially considering that it is a timeshare based operation. As for the details: As someone said in another review, book your van ride to the hotel through the Concierge service, read it and reread it. Then when you exit the plane, and then... More

My friends and I also took advantage of a Travelzoo deal. I have never had an experience that surpassed the marketing tools all resorts employ, but WOW, this place surpasses expectations. The architecture, the grounds, the pools, the rooms, everything and everyone is truly special. I've never seen a resort better maintained, honestly. Of course, food and beverages are what... More
