My kids and I went on a short 4 night stay here. We enjoyed the experience very much. The resort is smaller, and as a result we got to know it well in that short time. The evening shows were fun, easy to get a good view, and showcased the entertainment team's talents. They are also short, which was good. There was no shortage of things to do. What I really appreciated was that the entertainment team was not pushy when engaging people. They simply told us the events were happening, and didn't try and drag us along. That made it much more fun to simply join in Manuel with the entertainment team was approachable and friendly. We ended up playing Pickleball with him, and with some other visitors from elsewhere in Mexico. What I really appreciated was that he helped translate between us and it was great to play with friendly people from Mexico.…
I had the most amazing Deep tissue massage with yarmileth! I would say the best one I have ever gotten! Highly recommend her personally. I’m a regular at spas and have had many before, but this one I will definitely remember.
Don’t waste your time browsing for other hotels. Restaurants are amazing here (Bordeaux, their French-themed restaurant is delicious), there’s a lot of activities to choose from, live entertainment shows most, tennis court, 2 pools. I don’t have little kids but I saw them setting up the cutest beach cinema for the little ones! And the fact that is all-inclusive takes the pressure off all around. Their staff is so so friendly and courteous. Rooms are clean, AC worked perfectly. Do yourself a favor and book already!
There were several good things about our stay! The room was adequate and clean. The view from the balcony was wonderful, but perhaps trimming the palm in front a bit would have improved it. The A/C was spot on and cooled the room wonderfully. The staff was welcoming and friendly throughout the resort, which was very appreciated. The not so great…. The drinks seemed to have no alcohol in them. I am a lightweight, but after several “Rum Explosions”, a margarita, and a pina colada ( great smoothie), we stuck to beer and wine. Not what we were expecting. As to the food, we should have stuck to the Seafood Grill. The Portofino was average, and Bordeaux and Oceana were disappointing. Again, the staff at all were great, although our server at Portofino disappeared before bringing the promised desserts, so we gave up and left. Overall, it was a nice stay. The pool area staff really worked to find lounges and an umbrella for us. The pool area is beautiful, with the sea just beyond it ( can’t go in it, but beautiful to gaze at). I would definitely give it a 3.5 and suggest you give it a try, just adjust your expectations accordingly.…
Most of visit was good, except for the 2 days of trying to get our room changed. Paid for upgrade to ocean view when booked and on arrival had a pool view. Resort was full and Erik did keep working to get it changed. The staff was great, concierge Israel, pool guy Manny , and Jeremiah ,exceptional service!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
We have stayed in other Dream hotels at different locations before and we were very pleased with the service and amenities. The Dreams hotel at los cabos was not the case. The quality of the food served was poor, the staff at the hotel was burned out and quality of service compromised, the hotel did not have enough restaurants or meal options. We had to eat outside the hotel.
I enjoyed my stay at Dreams Los Cabos. Staff was very friendly and made the stay enjoyable. I enjoyed the food just wish my vacation had been longer. I would recommend Dreams to anyone interested in spending time in Mexico.
Overall we enjoyed our stay! Staff made up for any shortcomings. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the food though the selection was not vast. With that said, I was surprised there wasn't a dedicated Mexican food area...really think you'd kill it with a Mexican Street food vendor option. Like walk up grab a taco or burrito and keep it moving. Especially for folks like us that booked this trip purely to stay at the hotel. (There were Mexican food options, just not a dedicated restaurant. Baja Tacos at the Seaside Grill were delicious...and we ate them multiple times) Drinks were good but weak. The facilities were overall very pleasing visually. You felt like you were on vacation in a nice place. With that said, would have loved for the indoor dining options to be cooled better. They were always a little humid. The room itself was always cold and the bathrooms by the lobby were ice cold (if you get there early and need a break from the heat...go take a long bathroom break lol) My main issue with our experience was the condition of our actual room. Please see photos. Broken/loose bathroom faucet, sink that took forever to drain, bathroom lights that were burnt out and visible mold on shower tiles. Also there was an ac issue that caused water to drip from the ceiling in our closet. So not great...but we were happy otherwise so we didn't complain. But I would recommend a reno of the rooms in the future. Additional notes: sound travels easily and regularly through the rooms. Our suit was connected with the suit nextdoor and we heard the couple have an argument (not loudly but it was still a little awkward). It's just the way the acoustics are here...very little textiles to absorb sound and lots of hard surfaces. So bring earplugs if that bothers you.…
My grandmother, momma, aunt, and cousin stayed here for a girls trip. The view is spectacular. The rooms are beautiful and air conditioned. We spent a lot of time on the balconies. The pool is awesome with a swim up bar. The restaurants were fun. Manuel and Javier led the activities and were a blast! I had a lot of fun playing beach volleyball with Javier. Manuel leads the water aerobics and made us all laugh. I love their line dancing in the pool. They’ve got moves. The shows were great! Manny took care of us at the pool and always had a great smile. Dulce made our evenings in the breeze way special. Oscar remembered what we liked to drink at the beach bar with swings. Jon Paul took care of our family at Portifino and made us amazing drinks. He made us feel like family. The staff at Dreams Los Cabos are so friendly. They all took time to help me learn more Spanish. Thank you!!!…
This was our 3rd visit to the Dreams resort this year. Víctor Andrade was amazing at the Bordeaux restaurant. Service was over and above than expected, dinner was amazing. Along with everyone at the pool, Luis, Elsa, Octaivo, Manny I can not say enough other than Thank you again for your amazing service!
