Wonderful base for exploring San Jose and only a ten minute walk down through the village to the beach. A longer walk around the marina, great place to admire some local sculptures, takes you to a quieter, swimmable beach at the El Ganzo beach club. Also walking distance to some local restaurants, bars and hotels. The bus stops outside and...

By staying just outside the tourista madness of the Los Cabos Zona Hotelas, we had a taste of real Mexico from day one of our stay. El Delfin Blanco sits just a few blocks up the hill from the marina named Puerto del la Playita, a fishing village on the eastern edge of Los Cabos. The lodging is in small...

Dear jiminthehood Wow, thank you for staying with us and for a great and heart warming, long review. Sorry about late responding. We have been very, very busy and the days have gone too fast. Flor and I are very happy when we have guests/travelers with your friendly spirit. To take your time write a review like this makes it...

Looking for quiet place near beach in La Playa to visit my brother and his family. As I look back, this met my expectations. I could walk to beach, bus to town and found the place clean and quiet. Not the typical crowd that you find at the ritzy hotel zone, but that was fine with me. Meet some friendly...

After a long day of flying and shuttle transport we were ever so grateful to arrive at El Delfin Blanco and be greeted by the most lovely and charming owner, Osa Franzen. After brief introductions my partner announced he had a luggage mishap.Without hesitation Osa was on the phone with the shuttle service tracking down his bag and we were...

Osa realt made you feel at home. The Swedish pancakes with homemade mango jam was heaven. I strongly recommend a visit if you care about sustainability, small friendly hotels and can live with that a few things like e stove have seen better days. We'll be back!

Dear txmper, thank you for your friendly five points on TripAdvisor. I agree with you that the outdoor stove has seen better days, it still works good enough for pancakes. We mention only the BBQ on our web page. The stove has two electric burners they work fine even after several bad hurricanes with rain, silt, salt and sand sweeping...

The big resorts are encroaching and change is coming to the town of La Playa, but Osa Franzen's little corner is as peaceful and charming as when I first visited 12 years ago. It's only a short walk to the dynamic beaches and it's an easy drive to the center of San Jose del Cabo where you'll find the traditional...

El Delfin Blanco is a lovely alternative to the usual Hotel estate. It's a wonderful way to deep in the real life of western Mexico, at the same time having all the comfort you need, knowing that Osa, the owner, is taking care of you. At El Delfin Blanco you can enjoy a garden with Mango trees and palms, bbq,...

This place was just perfect. Rustic enough to scare away the thoughtless party crowd that flock to the all inclusive resorts (don't get me wrong, I like to party, just not thoughtlessly) but well appointed enough to set your backpack down and sink into a well used lounge chair. The owner has been here since the early 1990s. She's from...

The many resort hotels in the Cabo area offer plenty of choices for a generic stay by a pool, but if you'd like an experience with real flavor, something unforgettable and deeply immersed a sweet little Mexican fishing village, I highly recommend El Delfin Blanco. Osa has been extremely helpful and took good care of us while one of us got sick. She and Flor cooked us really good pancakes and made us feel like home. The little houses are lovely, comfortable and very clean. Go there, you will encourage this small family owned business and have a great time!
