Visited our home away from home for the 15th time back in October. As usual, the resort was in great shape and the staff was awesome as usual. We really enjoyed seeing our old friends that have been there since our first visit. Great job by our pool concierges Diego and George. Awesome attention and service by Christian, Franck, Cerbando, German, Daniel, and Benita. Always nice to visit and catch up. We always enjoy being welcomed home and look forward to our next visit soon!

This place is absolute heaven. I have been to Los Cabos 5 times and Hilton Los Cabos is hands-down the best hotel I have stayed at yet. The food, the view, the rooms - everything is wonderful, but THE STAFF is what makes it perfect. For me, the definition of vacation is mentally relaxing and not having to think about everything. The staff here made that happen - they looked out for us and that means the world. Our first meal was at Mio and Arturo took great care of us. Enjoying an adult meal with a knowledgeable, attentive server while our kids played nearby - that is how every vacation should start. The ahi poke bowl was one of the best I have had and the pizza...well, we ordered it every day so that tells you how yummy it was. Go with either the cheese or (beautiful) veggie. Seriously, SO good. Juan Carlos at breakfast became our family. He treated us like royalty and anticipated our needs. The food was delicious and of course the view is stunning, but what really made breakfast so special was him along with Ariana (hostess) who recognized us on the 2nd morning, went out of her way for us and was so sweet to our kids. Ricardo is one of the supervisors (I think) and he checked in on us every morning which I really appreciated. We did not need it because Juan Carlos took care of everything, but we felt extra special with Ricardo's attention. While waiting for our table at Lena (we did not make a reservation), we visited the lobby bar and were so happy we go to meet Valeria. She was great with our kids, made excellent recommendations and was just a doll overall. That smile could brighten anyone's day! We were enjoying everything so much that we lost track of time and our table was ready. Valeria offered to call the Lena team to hold our table for 20 minutes. Something so easy, but often overlooked - another element of a perfect vacation. We loved the ceviche - even my kids ate it and they are not into fish. If you like steak, treat yourself to the Tomahawk. My family is still talking about it, claiming it's the best meal of their lives. Restaurant steak is never good enough for my husband, but not this time - HEAVENLY. Mario was our server and like everyone else, could not have done his job any better. He was attentive, but not obtrusive and also great with our kids. The tiradito is also delicious and again, my kids ate it! The rooms - as perfect as everything else. Large, comfortable beds with a large, beautiful bathroom and a good-sized balcony- we could not ask for more. And the pools - something for everyone. The kids' pool is shallow enough for little ones to enjoy and let the parents breathe for a minute. The main pool and adults pool have a completely different vibe from the kids' pool, as they should, and they are in different areas of the resort so everyone can do their own thing. The hotel is really beautiful and situated in a great spot. The service was really good. Our biggest problem with this hotel is the price of the food and beverage was almost laughably high. We're from Los Angeles and were bowled over by the prices. Some examples include $10 for a cup of coffee, $18 for a glass of wine (not a great selection as most are Mexican wines), and $20 for a single shot style margarita. The breakfast buffet is $40 per person. A dinner steak is north of $50. If you are visiting with a family, you end up trying to get creative to eat or drink. It might now have mattered if this hotel was situated in an urban area where we had an option to leave to lunch or dinner, but it's in a beautifully isolated area; good for views and quiet, not great for food or beverage options. We've traveled to Mexico many times and it's generally expected that most things cost less than in the U.S. This Hilton, however, has prices in excess of Four Seasons in Santa Barbara or a high end restaurant in Beverly Hills. We have been here previously and had a better experience. An example of the changes… On the 26th on Nov, we were charged for an upgraded breakfast. We told the waiter that we had had not used the breakfast bar. Instead of accepting our word, he challenged us before finally fixing the bill. This was quite ugly and unexpected. The name on the ticket is Geyber Munoz, a big guy. Overall, they have made the place overly transactional and commercialized. We even paid $8 for a small quart of water!

The staff, the property, the room, the food…..everything was amazing. The food in particular really stood out. Every meal was spectacular and reasonably priced for the quality you get. And the staff was so welcoming and pleasant. In particular the bar staff at Sotol. . I highly highly recommend this property. I look forward to my return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Los Cabos! The property is well kept and the rooms are well appointed. There is beauty and art everywhere. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spacious with a separate soaking tub and showers. The gym staff was always cleaning and kept everything working well. All the staff we encountered greater us with a smile, which goes a long way! The pools were plentiful and we never had trouble getting a spot, with the help of the pool staff. The food from Mío is served poolside and is delicious. We got the spicy tuna poke bowl and it had a little flare to make it Authentically different and we loved it! The swimming beach was so nice to have right on property. You are not able to swim in the ocean at a lot of beaches in Los Cabos because the rip tide is often dangerous. We felt very safe swimming here and the ocean was warm! The shining star however was the food and beverage staff. They were so accommodating, friendly and always ready to serve. They truly work together as a team and all the foods we tried were absolutely delicious. Often when staying on property somewhere, the food feels a little overpriced and underwhelming but the opposite is true here! Armas and his team have created delicious meals with lovely waitstaff to see that each meal is special and memorable. We ate at Lena for dinner one evening and had the breakfast buffet along with the Mexican Fiesta at Talavera. We also had a poke bowl from Mío. We truly appreciate the experience we had and plan to visit again soon! …

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area, delicious food, clean beaches, adequate accommodations in the rooms. Unfortunately, it’s no different than the other 1,000+ hotels in the area providing the same services. The staff was clearly jaded and, on one occasion, difficult to work with. It’s beautiful but for the area its very, very average.
