This was our first time in Cabo as a family of 3. And to be our first time I was NOT PLEASED at all with the service. When I made the reservation it was directly with the hotel. In short words the room I booked and was promised was not given to me. I was supposed to get there Friday but had a flight delayed so I ended arriving Saturday morning I call hotel let them know about the delay and I made sure I was still getting the room I reserved with partial ocean view and garden view I was told yes. Once I get there I am exciting to have a nice view for the next 3 days and the wait time to check was horrible. Lines were moving slow only two receptionist available. We went to our room and to my surprised we got the last top corner view with an ugly view not garden view!! The only view I had was partial ocean and the back on the next door hotel. NOT what I asked for or reserved at ALL!! I also asked for two beds because we are a family of 3 and I only got one bed ??!! Alberto the bell boy was very nice though and tried to help out but nothing was done. I went down stairs to the receptionist and the young lady told me no rooms were available and i was gonna be put down on a list, I had to wait to till the next day when people check out. So I spend the night in the room but was not satisfied, my son was not happy at all. They told us we had to check out before 12pm they kept calling the room trying to rush us out and just so they can tell us we need to wait till 3pm to check in. That is very ridiculous it was not my fault I was given the wrong room. So we got moved to another room and it was worst than the 1st room the tv was glitching and A/C WAS NOT WORKING!! So I called complained and we got moved to another room. Which was the room I asked for in the beginning! WORST service and experience for being our 1st time ! What a waist of time moving back and forth. Not coming back to this resort. Other than that Samuel and Alberto gave us excellent service. Samuel helped us from the day we got to the hotel till the day we left he tried to sure we had a great time. And Alberto was very kind helping us with our luggage . You cannot get a reservation in any of the restaurants, when you call the phone just rings and rings. in order to get a reservation you have to call early in the morning. Buffets give the same food.

We went with alot of family a total of 18 members and the only good service we received was from Jose Antonio Castro a server/ waiter, Tamayo and Socorro from the premier Bar other than it this place sucked and we have a membership

Premiere bar at Club Solaris San Jose with Socorro and Tamayo was perfect! Great drinks with a personal touch and phenomenal service from both of them every time we visited them! They always went above and beyond for our family and friends. Always our favorite spot to visit while in Cabo😁

Alberto - the bell boy, Rosy - the lobby waitress, Omar Brito - bell boy and Ramon - the poolside waiter were all so helpful and EXTREMELY accommodating! We were very pleased with how they went out of their way to tend to our every request! AMAZING!

My career is a service operation manager, I know what great service is, if you want great service come to Mexico, -they say…- This time I would love to give an honorific mention to Josue, Angel and Gustavo in the breakfast area, Victoria at the beach VIP area, (On Thursday when she was off, the place was a chaos and they have to send three people to do what she naturally does) she is a people person, Simply a master in service. Miguel and Carla at Zai, the Japanese restaurant showed me what Is taking ownership, what is working with pride, and honor, people like them reminds my what is to feel like an honored guest. Victoria and Miguel went an extra mile to help and accommodate my family, to the whole dinning experience, they saved the night from a bad experience I had with 2 captains at Marco Polo and Panchos. They all made me forget that this building needs Maintenance and a lot of repairs, but the VIP service is there. I won’t forget your excellent service, my friends…. Victoria, my husband and I will always remember you.

The best kept secret of this hotel are the employees. Not many people notice the people that great you when you get to the hotel. These people are Omar, Abelino and German. You arrive, they open the doors of the vehicle, help you out and immediately retrieve you luggage. These three men that guests encounter daily, are the most knowledgeable of this hotel. They assisted us anytime we needed a cab, had questions about travel to town and where the best places were to purchase supplies. We had 11 in our group. Our luggage was delivered promptly and with a welcome home. When you stay at the Solaris make sure you say hello to these three men. They make travel so easy. Emmanuel and Santos were waiting when we arrived. At one point several of our college kids flights’ got delayed. Abelino and Emmanuel were on the phone instantly with the car service to make sure the kids found their way to the hotel safely. I have never had service like that. Then Santos advised me that he made reservations for us at dinner. Santos also made reservations outside the hotel and booked all our activities with the activity center Jose Romero greeted us at the members breakfast to see how things were going and to welcome us back. The hotel was almost full and thing went so smoothly. That’s because of they Jose treats and cares about his staff.

I will never come back this is resort! First off they do not tell you masks are still required in the resort. They single people out and allow others to not wear masks. We were asked to leave our dinner reservations because we didn’t have a mask. It was the most embarrassing thing ever. They were contemplating on kicking us out. When we actually did what they asked by wearing a mask. Also, we had to pay a $30 charge to have our sheets washed. They do not wash your sheets or put new sheets on. The food is absolutely disgusting, the stuff is not helpful, by far the worst experience of my life.

I would not stay here again. You must have a reservation prior to 1 pm on the day of your arrival or you only get the buffet. They could flip that and kindly welcome you with your choice of any restaurant as travel day is usually long and exhausting. We also got sick from the swimming pool that appeared filthy, too many floaties and hair all over. (Look up "Crypto" or cryptosporidium, commonly found in pools and is contagious). The food over all was terrible, you would be better off eating around town than having everything over done to include the morning waffles and lunch time taquitos. Also, if you want to charge something to your room, just know you need to bring cash and pay for it right then and there as the staff are unaware of the policies that afford you the opportunityto do so. We wanted to go somewhere kid friendly and from the looks of it, it was but if you are looking for an organized, customer service oriented location, this is not it.

Loved everything about the Royal Solaris ! The staff works extra hard to make sure your visit is great ! They are there to please ! The restaurant staff Gener, Joshua , Angel , Palma, Francisco, David, Raul (Bartender) were super! Also the entertainment staff is one of the best — they had really creative activities during the day by the pool , and then fantastic shows at night ! Especially want to mention Santiago, Kia , Fernando, Brenda and Johnny ! They all work really hard ! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you !

The hotel was okay the anything that I really didn’t like was the Wi-Fi never worked I was never able to use it and then also Ana rooms we had a sink that was clogged and then there was water leaking and then also they never left left us any toilet paper in our room for extra so we have to end up using toilet tissue and then there’s not enough elevators you could tell a lot of alligators are 20 no join you no more because the Buffay it was great no problem there service was good
