We stayed here 7/30/22-8/5/22 to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We booked through Costco & had the most amazing experience from beginning to end! 5 star resort with impeccable service & environment. BEACH - 10/10, The location is amazing & the swimmable beach was our favorite amenity for sure. We loved the large daybed that were available beachfront supplied with umbrellas & the best service. We enjoyed drinks & meals throughout the day. The bathrooms off the beach were always so clean. The waters were a bit rough at times but our 10 & 7 year old were just fine & there is a lifeguard on duty just in case. We enjoyed sunrise every morning & the views were like a dream! FOOD & DRINK - 9/10 We ate at every restaurant & the ingredients were always so fresh & delicious! Our favorite for breakfast was Naos. We loved the buffet & the service was amazing. Marco was kind & efficient every morning! The food was great with a variety of options. Our favorite was lunch was Gabi. The wait for food was a bit long on certain days but the ceviche & shrimp tacos were delicious! We also enjoyed Gabi for dinner for 2 nights & the chicken was soooo yummy! Isaias was the best waiter we had throughout our stay- attentive, kind, funny & when fireworks went off he went table to table offering each family to take pictures. 5 star employee, Paradisus should be proud! Capella was our favorite for dinner. The food & ambiance was unmatched. The staff from the host to the waiters are amazing! I wish I got the name of the waiter who served us our last night on 8/4. He was sooo sweet & made our anniversary night unforgettable! The drinks throughout the resort were delicious! My husband loved the mango margaritas with Tajin & our daughters drank probably 100 mudslides as day lol! The bartenders are fast & super nice! We also LOVED the ice cream shop & the 24-hour coffee shop! It was delicious & something we enjoyed every single day, multiple times a day. The only thing that took 1 point off was the fact the wait time for food was a bit long BUT the food was always worth the wait, however, wait times varied but one of the nights we waited over an hour for our food at the Mexican restaurant. ROOM - 10/10 We stayed in the garden view with 2 queens. The rooms are super clean, beautifully decorated & fully equipped with a fridge of goodies that was replenished every single day. This was always our girls’ favorite part was going to the pool, returning to a clean room & all the fresh treats! Our view was still beautiful from our room, even if it was garden view. The coconut trees, balcony & the slight ocean view were our favorites. We also loved that we could view the fireworks from our room. There were 3 nights that had fireworks, I’m not sure what the occasion was, I heard someone mention it was due to weddings but we LOVED this. The housekeeping staff does an amazing job in cleaning & replenishing towels. We appreciated coming to our room super clean every single day! AMMENITIES, ENTERTAINMENT & ACTIVITIES - 10/10 The pool was the best. We loved the water volleyball, the size, the comfy beach chairs with umbrellas, the water aerobics & waterside bar. They also served tacos & other meals everyday around noon. We also loved the swings & hammocks that have a beautiful view of the pool & ocean. There was nightly entertainment, we loved the band on Thursday night (8/4) & the kids club was great. Our girls loved the bracelet making & playing Minecraft, they only went one day so we can’t provide much feedback. The beach volleyball was fun for us too! Overall, this resort was like a dream, the entire experience was amazing & a trip that we will cherish always! Don’t question if you should book here, do it! You won’t regret it!…
Originally, I posted a negative review on day 4 of our 10 day stay, because of issues with reservations for dinner and the pool cabana. However, Lazalo, the Guest Services Manager, contacted us immediately, got the information and corrected it! It is now day 8 and we are having so much fun. The restaurants are good and offer a variety good for adults and kids. More importantly for parents, the bars and drinks are 👍💯 Alberto at Mole (Mexican restaurant), Luis at Capella (Italian), Amir & Alexis poolside service, Kenny at the swim up bar, and Alex, our concierge, are awesome. We recommend the grilled octopus, fish ceviche and tuna tostada at Gabi (restaurant at pool & pool service). The vampiro taco at Mole 😋 The kids have been eating the hot dogs and chicken the whole time and no complaints 🙏 Breakfast room service 👍👍 Ricardo & Jennifer, the photographers are so good and worth the 💵 We got gorgeous family photos. The nightly shows and daily kid's club activities were great for the kids. The Prehispanic show (pic included) is very cool. Overall, great vacation and all-inclusive resort experience.…
Fernando 911 & Omar were so attentive to us! Their service was beyond incredible! They made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! We had a swim up room facing the pool and Omar would run drinks over to us! The fabulous service and beautiful resort made this stay 5 stars! We will definitely be back!
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our last minute getaway to Las Paradisas Los Cabo. The Reserve room was well worth the extra cost and the service was incredible. Two standouts were the bartender in the Reserve Lounge and Fernando (911) in the Palapa restaurant. We can’t wait to return soon! Gracias por todo!
My daughter had her wedding at the Paradisus Los Cabos and it was a beautiful event and overall great experience! Beatriz, the wedding coordinator at the hotel, was helpful and wonderful to work with. My mom fell down the stairs, and she ended up in the Emergency Room in Los Cabos for 12 stitches. For such a horrible accident, the hotel doctor, security, and staff were wonderful and helped us navigate the entire experience. Iker, the concierge the next day, than assisted us with getting prescriptions filled. I would definitely recommend taking the elevator for a guest that is older. The Reserve lounge and Daniella in the Reserve concierge was amazing. The Reserve was a wonderful, worth the cost upgrade to our trip. The only complaint was the pool bar, they definitely needed more bartenders. With that said, we were in Cabo and even with the longer bar waits, it was still an amazing experience.…
Francisco is so awesome! Always know my drink every time I see him. He’s so nice! I am Going to miss seeing him everyday! I can’t wait to come here and see him again. He always puts a smile On our face
We recently stayed at the Paradisus Los Cabos as part of Circle Club promotion stay. Our overall impression is as follows: 1) Hotel grounds and common areas are well maintained with the exception of the inner Courtyards that look like they need some updating. 2) Rooms – The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. There is not much of a contrast as the color scheme is mostly white with some touches of stone and light wood. It was generally very pleasing to the eye. 3) The Staff – This is where the hotel shines. The staff is very friendly and more than willing to make your stay comfortable. 4) The Restaurants – This is where the resort has a lot of room for improvement. The only two restaurants that served the best meals were the Japanese and La Palapa (for breakfast and lunch). The selections were very good and the taste, even better. Of the two, we preferred lunch at La Palapa. The service by Fernando was truly exceptional! He is personable and extremely professional. He makes you feel right at home, no matter how your day started! He provided great recommendations and was always very attentive. They are lucky to have him! As to the food, the lunch and breakfast chefs were absolutely excellent! We love the guacamole, the grilled fish of the day and the flank steak and shrimp empanadas! The desert was also the best in the entire resort. We really, really enjoyed the pineapple cake! On that note, many thanks to the staff and especially to Fernando! You made our stay that much more memorable.…
I am not one who writes reviews good or bad because opinions and expectations vary. However I had to take the time on this one. We have been coming to Cabo for nearly 20 years and the Paradisus has been the most disappointing. We have stayed at many all inclusive resorts in Cabo…Secrets, The Hard Rock, Pueblo Bonito, Villa La Estancia, Le Blanc. All of these resorts were much better in many ways. We arrived at approx. 6:00 pm on Saturday. We booked through Costco and paid for an upgraded ‘Ocean Veiw room’. Our room was a view of the neighboring resort and dead palm trees (pictures attached). When I went back to the front desk and spoke to the manager Rodrigo I was told I had one of the nicest rooms. He was very unwilling to accommodate and seemed to care very little that we (we traveled with another couple who were equally unhappy.) were unhappy. Overall room was dated, TV didn’t work to order room service etc (said feature was removed by request of guest?) bathroom was small and dark. I did receive a call from Rodrigo on our second night about 15 minutes before our dinner reservation that we could be moved however we were rushing off to dinner and had already unpacked and settled in since we had already been told basically told we got what we paid for so we declined. Instead I asked him if he could get us dinner reservations at the Asian restaurant Tokimeku (it was our anniversary) and he said he’d try and let me know. Never heard from him. Dinner reservations were mandatory. When we checked in at 6pm we were told nothing was available except for the ‘Reserve’ restaurant. There were about 5 other tables in the entire restaurant. The food was mediocre at best. When we went to the lobby after dinner to complete dinner reservations for the rest of our stay (3 more nights) we were told basically all that was available was their Mexican and Italian restaurants at 9:00 pm or later. The Asian restaurant Tokimeku was booked our entire stay (Sat-Tues.) Never have I experienced an all inclusive resort where you were unable to eat at a restaurant! You are required to book the reservations through the concierge. When we said these times and options were not acceptable we were told “they would go walk to the restaurants and see what they could do for us and call us.) We were never called but we did check back with the concierge and were given an earlier reservation time but not without a battle! I certainly didn’t appreciate having to stress out and keep checking back to see if we could get a dinner reservation. They seem to prefer you order room service. We did order room service twice. We got our order one time the other time it never showed. I called and I was just simply told they didn’t have it with no offer to send a new order. I was called about 30 minutes later and offered room service but declined because we went to the Nespresso bar. WE checked back again on our third night for better reservations and were turned down. We ended up just showing up at the Asian restaurant at 6:00 and walked right in??!! The Gabi Beach nightclub/bar was closed the entire time. Ginger Bar is the only bar open at night for the entire resort. On one trip to the bar I could order a Kettle One and soda, the next trip to the bar I would get told Kettle isn’t on my plan, then another trip I would be told “Kettle One isn’t on your plan but I’m going to give it to you anyway. Frustrating. Pool service…one day we had Francisco and he was great. Next day Omar, not so much. And yes, we tip even though tips are “included” in the price we always tip well. The bar on the beach…Jose was great. We were never told at check-in or any other time what was or wasn’t on our plan? In fact we were told absolutely NOTHING about the resort at check in and basically just pointed in the direction of our room. The Nespresso coffee bar and the ice cream shop were probably the best part of the resort. The food is just a miss big time. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I’m surprised Costco is even offering this hotel. I know the excuse for the service and food is going to be Covid and the disclaimer on the website that states some services will be unavailable etc but it would maybe be nice if you were aware of what services or bars were closed entirely and that reservations are going to be so unaccommodating. Seriously book elsewhere.…
I can honestly say that out of the numerous countries I’ve visited, this was hands-down my best lodging experience. The staff was extremely flexible with my situation: I had contracted COVID-19 a few days before my first reservation and had to move it to a later date. Not only were they able to move it with ease, but they were willing to provide a 10% discount. During my second attempt to make my trip, I noticed that I had lost my passport at the very last moment. Again, Paradisus was willing to be flexible and allow me an additional day to search for it before completely canceling that reservation. I finally made it to Cabo after booking the third time, and it 100% was worth all of the hassle. The Reserve side of the resort offers visitors their own concierge, and mine was extremely helpful + went above and beyond to make himself available for any questions I may have. Often times in hospitality, you come across employees that are nice because that’s what their job description calls for. However, I truly met some kind, caring, and warm employees that elevated the service. All-inclusive resorts also have a reputation for being great for alcohol, but OK at best for food. Here, the food was exquisite: I had every type of cuisine from American, to Asian, to Mediterranean. EVERYTHING was top tier. I was even able to enjoy a dinner at the Reserve restaurant while overlooking the beach and then walk down to an employee releasing turtles into the sea. I had such an amazing time here that I made a point to let the supervisor on staff know just how fantastic this resort was. It made me feel safe as a female solo traveler, and was nothing short of luxurious. I have already started planning my return, & will indeed be staying at Paradisus again.…
The service from all the employees at the paradisus has been exceptional. Francisco at the reserve bar was very welcoming and charismatic. He made us any drink we asked for and made our time at the bar very fun.
