We recently stayed at Zadun with my husband, kids and parents in a connected family room. Our stay was wonderful. The rooms are stunning, the property is incredible and the attention to detail makes this hotel stand out. We debated staying at other hotels in the area but in the end, were so happy with our choice, given the quiet of the surrounding area, the huge rooms and personal outdoor spaces, the private beach and the fact that it never felt crowded even on busy weekends. The food at every restaurant (including in-room dining) was excellent. Service was perfect and staff were extremely accommodating. Some people have commented on the lack of privacy from the room’s outdoor spaces. We were in the back row, with amazing views and two outdoor spaces which felt very private. It was a pleasure to stay here and we will be back.

We stayed here in May 2021 and while it was nice it was lacking in the service department. We wanted to LOVE this place and come home to tell our friends to check it out, but Im not sure we would go back in all honesty. The way the hotel is architected, you can see into every single hotel room patio. We choose a ground floor ocean view with plunge pool. We looked around the entire property and as you walk by rooms you can literally see what people are doing in their little outside area. No privacy. Aside from this issue we just didn't feel the service with that of a luxury property and felt with better training there could be improvement. The spa is lovely. We seemed to be the only ones there which would have been relaxing though the workers followed us around everywhere (even when we were using the pool). Im crossing my fingers in a few years this property will be on track.

We just arrived home from a week at Zadun and it was pure heaven! We were supposed to travel on to another luxury property in Cabo after 4 days but we canceled those plans so we could remain at Zadun longer-something we have never done before! The team here is truly phenomenal-a huge thank you to our Tosoani, Eduardo, who was absolutely amazing, as well as Miguel. The pool and beach team are also exceptional-a special thank you to Ignacio, Tony, Alex, Amyris, Jair and everyone else who made our days relaxing at the pool so special. The restaurant options on property are all wonderful, we never had a meal that was not outstanding, and the spacious rooms (which are all suites) with their outdoor space is hard to top. We cannot wait to return to this very special place!

In May of 2021, we scheduled a much-overdue vacation to the recently-built Zadun resort. Zadun was simply one of the most well designed, immaculate, and beautiful properties we’ve ever stayed at (and we’ve stayed at a LOT of high end, beautiful properties). Upon our arrival, we were greeted by our “Tosani” (butler) - Miguel. Miguel is absolutely the nicest and most hard-working guy on Planet Earth! During our stay, he helped us arrange for all of our Reservations, including Dining, Golf, and even our required COVID test (necessary for travel, 72 hours prior to departure). Through our entire stay, he was there for us for whatever we needed. We have had Butlers in France, the UK, Greece, etc., and all of them could learn a lot from Miguel and his exceptional attention to detail and forever sunny attitude. There are simply not enough great things I can say about this Resort. It’s not just the exceptional care that is taken to the property, but it is truly the people who have obviously been handpicked to provide top-notch care and service for the guests. We literally didn’t meet a single person who wasn’t exceptional. Every single employee we met, in every capacity, truly seemed to love their job and care very much about our experience. The rooms are SPECTACULAR. Literally every details has been thought of. We cannot wait for our next visit to Zadun!

I am an elderly woman and made the mistake of walking from my nearby home to Barrios for lunch with my family on a very hot day. It was too much for me. By the time we arrived at the hotel I felt faint and not well. Ignacio accessed my situation and offered me water and even provided my husband with a paper mask because his had flown off in the breeze by the sea. Then he called us a shuttle to take us up to a higher level where the restaurant was. Thank you for being so professional Also Ritz thank you for making it a policy to give people who look tired or dehydrated to give them water....I saw the same at the front reception because I waited there while my husband went to retrieve our car.
