If you like a boutique hotel away from the crowds this is a place for you. When we walked in to open reception area my son said "Mexico meets Greece" the hotel is very charming white with colorful bugambilia plants everywhere. The staff is very professional and very attentive to all your needs. The hotel is spotless! The suites are built with updated bathrooms, shelves to place your belongings and plenty of comfortable beds and fold out sofas. The beach and pool area and restaurant "palapa" are cozy and beautiful. The hotel is on the highway between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. You can take a 15 min uber ride into either town for site seeing and dinning. Across the Highway there is a coffee shop and a glass blowing workshop. You are not allowed to swim on the beach as waves are very strong but its amazing to sit and watch the force of nature. We booked several boat trips at front desk. We were picked up at hotel and driven to marina. We were spoiled for a few days and would highly recommend this small hotel.

Barb, it was our pleasure to help "spoil" you and your son during your well-deserved Los Cabos getaway. There certainly are many things to like about staying at a beachfront boutique hotel. The open freshness creates a sense of tranquility when you are yearning to take a break and get away from it all for a few days. Fewer crowds mean more time for you to recharge your batteries, reflect on all that has transpired, and envision your road map for success for the future. And doing all this in the loving company of family strengthens the bond even further as you both take in every sightline of where "Mexico meets Greece." Thank you very much, Barb, for choosing Mar del Cabo for quality relaxation and as your conveniently placed home base for exploring. You can be assured that we will be ready for your next visit to this, your "Amazing jewel of a hotel." Take care and warm greetings to all our good friends in beautiful San Diego, California, GERARDO VELA DIRECTOR GENERAL MAR DEL CABO

Loved this boutique hotel, sister to Grand Velas. The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, clean and great. We stayed in a two bedroom/two bath unit with the perfect amount of space for a 5 night stay. We enjoyed our continental breakfast every morning, thanks to Antonio, Chef Mario, Fabian and team. Paola at the front desk was amazing, and very patient with us! The manager, Gerardo was so welcoming and gave us some great food/restaurant recommendations and his team took great care of us! We tried Frida next door at Grand Velas and loved Jorge our waiter. The beach & pool area at Mar del Cabo was not crowded and felt somewhat private. Service was lovely. If you want the boutique & intimate experience, go here. You’ll be taken care of well. Our entire experience overall was amazing, we’d love to go back again!

Everything about it- you wont regret visiting this place. We cannot wait to return again one day. Clean, quiet, relaxing, beautiful, friendly staff, delicious food- the list goes on and on. This hotel was the perfect size for us- we are not huge fans of the big resorts- Mar Del Cabo has character and is much more unique.

We are locals and visitied this hotel for the 1st time in April 2021 looking for a nice sunday breakfast and this option couldn't be better! The place is BEAUFITUF, it has a great vibe and you feel like you're in an european village. The highlight of our visit was the service, I would like to recognize Favian Ramirez for his GREAT service, smile, attitude and overall attention. He was extremely nice and made us feel great during our visit. I definitely reccomend this place, will come back for sure! =)
