This budget hotel is filthy, poorly maintained, and unwilling to make anything better. We booked it online based on some positive/neutral reviews and acceptable pictures. When we got there we were so tired and hungry and so shocked by this shabby, deserted ugliness, that we just went to dinner and came back to reassess. We expected budget accommodations and decided to put our misgivings aside for a night. In the morning after a terrible night's sleep- sloping double beds meant we had to sleep separately, and the broken window let in lots of street noise and whistling wind- we decided that the horrific bathroom made the room unusable and we needed a change. We packed up and went to the front desk to tell them we couldn't stay in that room and were told that since we prepaid there was no way to refund any of our money and goodbye. I expect FAR more from a hotel that has advertised itself to be a three star hotel. I have traveled to Mexico more than a dozen times and been to a lot of different places, plus additional travel in other countries, and this was the worst hotel I've ever been to. We are just a grocery store worker and a public school teacher, we are not expecting the Ritz. We love Mexico so much we hope to retire there, as it is so beautiful and the people are so nice. I am still in shock over this experience.

I’m not really sure where to start here. We couldn’t find a soul when we tried to check in. Wandered around calling out. Hola? hola?Nothing. Dirty blender and a bottle of dish soap on the bar. No bar tender. No customers. Finally found someone. They couldn’t find our reservation. We brought in the paper work and they placed us in a small, dingy, cramped room with a view of an alley. Bathroom filthy. Mattresses with dried urine stains. Mosquitos and mites everywhere in the room. Went back out to complain and still no one. No one at the fro t desk. No one in the lobby. Disgusting. Don’t stay here!

This is a wonderful family owned business. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. This clearly is a favourite among Mexicans as I was one of the few foreigners staying there. this is not a 5-star hotel by any stretch but it good honest affordable stay. I would definitely come back

I am always one to read reviews and compare hotels and I do not demand a lot. Don’t really understand the rating it has. In my 9 night stay in Baja California Sur . We changed hotels almost every day , paying on average about $70, and this hotel was defiantly in last place. You can easily find a much better hotel. Prices were posted in hotel are way cheaper than what you find on travel sites, but even then it seems overpriced. $980 pesos ($51 dlls) I paid about $70. No hot water in room first room I was put in room was changed to a smaller room , which at least it had hot water. There are definitely a lot of details that could make this hotel Better even if it is old. New sheets, extensiones to plug phones, clean outlets , new luggage rest ( or just remove the ugly old rusty one ). WiFi that actually works. Well it seems like they were remodeling because when we woke up to the smell of paint, another recommendation is inform your guest that they will be painting or do it sections and don’t put guest in those rooms for a day.

It was so comfortable in all respects. It felt wonderful to stay there......the people are so nice, the room we had had a lovely view of the mountains in the distance, the bed was super comfortable, there was hot water in the shower, everything was sparkling clean, it felt wonderful to walk from our room to the terrace for morning coffee, we were a very short walk to the plaza which has so many wonderful things happening at night. We would go back in a minute.

Room Tip: think rooms with even numbers (eg 22, 24, 26) have better views than other side
