We enjoyed this resort as we chose it for the night life and advertised pool parties. The pool parties were more than what we expected- the music, dancers, props and entertainment were everything we wanted. Riu Sante Fe knows how to throw a good party! Our room was in building

This resort is incredible. Having stayed at the Riu Palace before in Cancun. I was worried that this would be worse, in terms of food, cleanliness, etc. but it was amazing. The food was delicious (however many of the sit-down restuarants were closed and/or only open on certain

There a quite a few vendors on the beach offering excursions. We purchased Parasailing and Jet Skiing. Then we had to walk a mile down the beach to find the boat. Those guys then try to charge us again; it was very complicated and poor communication. I would recommend paying slightly extra and booking through your airline.

Are there coffee makers in the rooms? Or can they be requsted?
We brought our own mini Keurig (my in laws have a small regular coffee maker they bring-Walmart sells them). Brought milk and coffee cups up from the main restaurant the night before (you can even grab baileys from the bartender). They stock your fridge with large water bottles so no worries with water. Nice treat to relax on your balcony early am with a good cup of java.
