First let me say, this place is stunning!! The pictures do not do it justice. And it is impeccably clean!! The employees are super friendly and helpful. They will remember you and your favorite drinks and start making it when they see you. Lots of food and drink options. This place is fun enough to enjoy for a girls/guys trip, romantic enough for couples yet still very family appropriate. Very safe, we left the resort for excursions and to go downtown and to the marina many times. Even the people off the resort are fantastic! I will definitely go back!!!

We stayed in this hotel from July 20-27. The hotel was only at 50% capacity, so I would say it was not packed. Checking in was ok, we were offered to upgrade thats why it took a while . Our room was not extra ordinary . The alcohol was not filled we have to call them to put alcohol like Jose Cuervo and others , there are minimal outlet to charge cellphones and some of them does not work. I don’t think that our bed sheets were change at some point . I think it was just remake every time . On our 3rd day my neighbor was partying in their room . I tried to call the front desk by dialing 9 but no one is answering until I went the next day and I was told that the extension was 819 to talk to someone . My neighbor were partying until almost 2 am in the morning , multiple people has mistakenly knocked in our door for our neighbor’s party. Nobody from the security was even rounding because there multiple episode that someone was yelling at the garden as well not once but twice at least . We stayed in La Ventana on Sunday night because few of our friends were leaving the next day. We went there before 10pm, and we were told that they are closing but gave our orders anyway . We stayed there since there were multiple people staying in different tables . Our waiter was cool Christian but their manager was something . We have a small music and we were dancing . Their manager came to us and threaten us that he will call security which he did . Security came to us and told us to stop . I don’t understand we were asked to stopped but the multiple people inside the Ventana were not even complaining . We asked them and they were actually requesting to increase the volume of our music . We were in public space away from the rooms and yet we are being asked to shut down. Where as it’s ok to have party in the room and disturbed other people . Specialty restaurant, Misaki and Krystal and El Medano and the buffets are good . Bombay and San Jose needs to change or make adjustments with their food . Indian food is very far from Indian cuisine. San Jose was supposed to be Italian but was very salty . Beto is the best waiter , he is very quick and efficient . Specialty restaurants are normally small in size , and it’s first come first serve basis . The bar is overall ok. There are times that our order takes a long time to come . But we enjoyed the place because there were 21 of us . The food over all is good , our room is ok. We bought a Jet Ski tickets but we were never told about the age. No one told us that kids below 10 cannot ride and 17 and above can drive . I was called to 30 minutes that the 2 person we included in the transportation will no longer be included . La Ventana coffee shop , the drinks were good . Pastries were ok with addition of the some bees sharing even before you eat it .RIU Santa Fe’ Water park was very strict , they didn’t allowed my husband to wear his shorts with zipper . The hotel is 5 star but does not feel like one.

Resort was super clean! Food was OK. Buffets were really nice and had a great selection. Service was great! We liked the location and how close it is to the marina area. Just a short Uber ride there and back.

II went a year ago solo for my 40th, (going to the Santa Fe for the second time in 3 days) was in an Oceanview and was able to lay out on my balcony and enjoy the view. I lucked out with Covid because they upgraded me for my 40th since there was availability with no questions asked without paying extra. All staff were incredibly hospitable. I left some money on the nightstand for the maids and they didn't take it..I now know I should have left it on the pillow. The first day, I wanted something and an employee tracked one down for me that I should have bought at the store. I have no issues with the food...I stuck to the ceviche and fish and fresh options. I think the complaints are hilarious whenever I read what people say. Such entitlement in so many. I was walking over a bridge over the pool to my room and did some slippy happy dance without hitting the floor, which I hope someone got a good laugh, but just be careful. Slick. My knockoff Tory Burch sandals have no traction. I saw so many people not tipping after they left their table. Leave a damn dollar at least! Just remember what you give out will come back to you. Careful with the doors since they can stay open. Luckily no one bothered mine when I didn't shut it one time. I walked to the marina from the beach every day and tore up my feet bad with flip flops. I think it was 40 min walk. Great exercise. Bring hair conditioner and sunscreen. Clothespins to secure stuff drying on balcony. Yeti cup! Overall very clean place. I felt safe at all times alone.
