Our stay here was a 5-star experience!!! I saw a negative review "Avoid at al costs!!!". Well, they didn't plan for success. I planned every detail of our trip here including our wedding on the terrace as well as our excursions. They didn't do their due diligence. This resort is smaller and most people come here because it's got a more cozy atmosphere. I knew how much everything cost, and trusted the staff here at Sirena Del Mar with their process. First of all, I would like to especially thank Natalia and Daniella for helping me coordinate our wedding on the terrace. They were invaluable and incredibly flexible to our needs. They contacted our photographer and florist to ensure they had everything they needed. Despite some last minute changes, they gave us our perfect wedding. Secondly, Fedra coordinated all our transportation where I needed to be on time. She verified dates, times, prices, and made life so easy for the 8 of us. Thank you Fedra for such a wonderful job!!! Also, Daniella coordinated a meeting with Charly and Chef Omar who oversee Estrella Restaurant. They went over every detail of our reception and even upgraded us to a more expensive menu for the same price. My wife, friends, and parents loved all the amazing courses that Chef Omar prepared for us. (I will include pictures of the different courses and our reception pictures). Chef Omar assigned his best staff to ensure we had the most amazing experience possible. My dad is such a picky eater, but he ate every single course. I'm so thankful to Chef Omar, Charly, and the other amazing people who gave us such a special event. I highly recommend contacting the restaurant for special events. They have many options, and Chef Omar is the best!!! We can't thank him enough. Lastly, I just wanted to say that we had an amazing week. The Serena Del Mar team pampered us and made us feel at home. The food was amazing. We didn't have one negative interaction. Were there things that could have gone better? Well, yes. But nothing is perfect. No matter what the issue was, the staff worked quickly, tirelessly, and efficiently. We felt like family by the time we left.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! Worst resort I have ever visited. Room quality is poor old, outdated, and dirty. The restaurant (only one available) at the property is expensive and serves horrible bland food. We ate at other resorts restaurants everyday because of this. The resort has no activities. The beach is a beautiful but not really on the property (I am not myself but the beach is not handicap accessible)! 260 stairs roundtrip to get to the beach (No one staying at the resort uses the beach because of this). They will loan you foldable aluminum chairs to use at the beach but you have to carry them to the beach yourself! It was my wife's birthday and our anniversary and they wanted to charge at least $115 to decorate the bed with "Happy Anniversary". These complaints are not even the worst thing that happened. The concierge (Fedra) was HORRIBLE!!! She first told us that all boat tours were sold out she then proceeded to call what I can only think was a friend and offer us a $600 boat tour. We later Uber into the Marina and took the same boat tour for $39. When we ask for local food recommendations we were told by Fedra to use "Trip Advisor" (Usually the Concierge is there to make recommendations and are very helpful). Ulisses at the front desk did not care if we were comfortable with our stay or not. We ask for a room change since they placed us directly next door to the room they are using for the COVID Test (On our anniversary) so we literally stayed away all day because it was loud with vacationers coming and going getting tested (lined up in front of our door). Don't let the pictures and reviews fool you! PLEASE DO NOT NOT STAY HERE!!!

My wife and I have now stayed at this resort 3 times. We stayed for our Honeymoon, family trip, and most recently last week for a couples retreat with friends. We have also stayed at numerous other resorts in Cabo over the last 10 years, this by far was the best and feels like a hidden gem to us. It has the private beach that it shares with another community, it has a 'quiet resort' feel with the amenities to let loose if you want, and most importantly the staff was AWESOME! They do a great job making you feel like you are at home, even though you are away on vacation. The resort is kept very clean and the views are absolutely amazing. We also had a great experience with Fedra in concierge both before and during our stay at the resort. She was very helpful, polite, and always had a great attitude and smile on her face. Angel down at the pool bar was great as well! Honestly I don't have anything negative to say about any staff members, it was such a great experience all around.

We had a great stay at the resort and would definitely come again. We intend to next year. We stayed the third week in February. The weather was perfect. It gave us lots of opportunities to use the facilities such as the pool, hot tub, and outdoor recreation like ping pong. They even had some ceramic painting opportunities, though we did not partake in that. The cool thing about this location is that it's set back quite a ways from the main road, so no traffic noise. It's also situated by the beach, about a 300 foot walk from the resort down a set a spiral staircase. Also, across from the main road is a hiking trail that you can go all the way up to the top and overlook the valley and the sea. We had a suite with all your kitchen needs; you just need to stock up from the grocery store pretty close by. Groceries in Cabo were expensive, relatively speaking. The resort is a minute drive from Jazz on the Rocks, which is a pretty nice restaurant and jazz bar overlooking the sea. There's also a restaurant on resort, and I would skip that unless you're eating outside. When we arrived, there were many nice little touches in the room including towels in the shape of swans and petals, real flower petals, strewn everywhere. The decor is not really my taste, and for a seaside place like this, I feel like they could lighten up the colors. That aside, the room was perfect, most importantly the view. If you splurge with anytime on your trip, get the ocean view. The sound and the sights are amazing. The view overlooks the giant boulders rocks and crashing ocean waves. We sat out on our deck for hours on end just whale watching (constantly active) and taking in the scenery, including an early morning sunrise. What I really want to accentuate is the service. From beginning to end, the staff was so kind. When we arrived and had an issue with the room reservation, completely my fault, they took care of us. The bellhop told us to go to Hector, and he definitely took care of us! Hector has been with the resort for many years, and so he knows how to make guests feel welcomed and valued. This was my first time in Cabo, and I had some reservations about going during covid times and Mexico in general. But my reservations have been eliminated, and I would most definitely return again, especially to this resort Serena Del Mar. I know it sounds like I'm pouring it on thick, and I'm generally pretty critical, but this was a great stay.

My family of 4 stayed a lovely 9 nights at Sirena Del Mar in Cabo. Our first time in Mexico, and our first time at a resort that was not all-inclusive. We chose this because we have a few pickier eaters and thought we’d be safer getting the villa with a kitchen. This took some getting used to, but a few quick Uber rides into town worked out ok for us (I do recommend Uber). They do have a little market with some basic essentials, but wish it had just a little more-for convenience, since there’s just the one restaurant. The food was amazing, and the nightly entertainment was so much fun. Wonderful infinity pools and beautiful beach (a lot of steps-but worth the walk). I am not a complainer, but the last few nights were pretty miserable trying to sleep. We were on the 4th floor and the groups above us had no consideration whatsoever for the time of night- moving furniture and kids running all around at midnight every night. We didn’t book a big party place for a reason. Other than that... The staff was wonderful!! So welkoming!! Thank you all so much!
