I had so much fun at the El Encanto resort. Make sure to get the all inclusive package for best deals in food and drinks. Even though the resort of far from the main tourist places, there was always something to do. They also offered shuttles to the Arch. Make sure to read through the paper work when you check in, there are charges for room services and housekeeping. They also have activities such as volleyball, biking, water aerobics, etc. Carlos and Alex made the activities fun and exciting. Gin make the best drinks at the bar near to the lobby. Over all I enjoyed the time at the resort. Everyone was so nice and the servers was good.
Beautiful resort. Friendly staff. Very covid clean!!! Special waiters with excellent service.Pedro.Andres.Antonio. we loved our stay and hope to come back soon. Gorgeous rooms with ocean views. Go visit
I’ve been to Cabo multiple times; fist time staying here. It was awesome, the all inclusive is worth it. The food is great service is awesome. They have carts that pick you up and take you to your destination, since things are sometimes distant, Marvin was the gentleman that was driving the cart and he was AWESOME!! Our first day here he showed us around and explained everything to us. He made sure on our last day after breakfast that we got to the lobby on time for our shuttle. Vicente was a waiter at our pool that had fire wood pizza and his service and attentiveness was very satisfactory. We really had a good time and will be coming here again.
Absolutely amazing staff. Especially Jaciel the server and cook in Mestizo. He was an absolute treat. Almost like a hibachi grill but for an all inclusive Mexican restaurant. And Jaciel was the chef and entertainment. The other staff Monico, Eric, Marcos, Paul, Jenny, were all like family and we loved every second of the trip
I will start by saying what a shame. Its amazing how poor management, can truly destroy an otherwise great resort. This is an absolutely beautiful resort. Grounds are beautiful. But that is all ruined by shady staff. It all started with check in, being told we were getting an "upgrade." That is code for, "here is our timeshare attempt." After sniffing that out, returning to the front desk, and arguing for over 60 minutes about the room I booked in October 2020, for May 2021, we were finally given the correct room. The stay itself was pleasant, and we had a great time with our friends. We were not going to let some poor management ruin that. Now, we have been to at least 10 or more all inclusive resorts and this is the first one that wanted me to sign for everything. Every drink, every dinner, everything need you to sign a bill. It got old quick. The service staff was very nice but SLOW. 20 to 30 minutes to get a drink at the pool. One dinner took over 2 hours. We actually cancelled desert after waiting 20 minutes for them to bring it out. Day before we leave, we go for our covid tests. As they told us at check in, go the morning before you leave. We did, and, "oh, sorry, we are booked." So where do we get a covid test? "Not our problem," more great service. So we take a taxi to the local hospital, have a rapid test done and return to the pool, determined to enjoy our last day, which we did, minus another management caused bump in our road. After an overall pleasant week, minus the slow service, we get to check out. Here comes the fun. Tried changing me for room cleaning $5 a day, two orders of room service, and a round of tequila shots they claimed were premium. Room service is part of the All Inclusive, says it right here on my Expedia booking confirmation. I lost my nerve at this point. Paid them $15 for two legit charges, a coffee my wife got at the Starbucks that was not part of the inclusive, and a few snacks we got at the gift shop, where they conveniently don't take cash. The "manager" threatened to just charge my card for the rest so I got up, walked out and immediately called my bank and froze the card. Because of places like this, I have a credit card I use just for international travel, that I can shut down at the push of a button, close and get a new card. Bottom line here, I will never touch El Encanto, Hacienda, or any "Grand Hotel" owned location again. Really ashame that such a beautiful resort can be so poorly miss managed. If you are considering this place and love all inclusive resorts that are simple and legit, without trying to sneak in fees, keep looking. This is not the place for you.…
