Called in for a drink and snack one evening last week, they were able to accommodate us without a problem, just had a couple of snacks and a few drinks. The service is very good, staff are knowledgable about what is on the menu, all the food is locally sourced a lot from the nearby Somerlayton estate. What we had...

The building itself and the food were all lovely, best starter ive ever had! (wild mushroom) However the service really let the stay down. They were all small things that added up to a big let-down really. My partner booked the stay as a surprise for my birthday, we stayed Thursday 9th Feb. He had taken a bottle of Prosecco...

Stopped here for lunch one day as we were staying just down the road. Tried Venison pie off the specials board from the lunch menu and was very good, the rest of the family enjoyed various dishes including pheasant and steak and everybody agreed we would be back again. Also has a well stocked bar in a nice scenic location....

Another fantastic, comfortable stay here that felt luxurious and indulgent. Very happy with our room, the grounds are always beautiful to explore in every season and staff friendly, especially Katie in the restaurant who was attentive, kind and professional. Well done. Great duck dish 😊

The food was excellent New Year's Eve, but breakfast news day was disappointing I think the chef must of had a hang over so will let him off,as the food news year day evening back on track....

This was our second visit to the fritton arms and it won't be our last. The house is set in wonderful landscape with a welcoming beer garden to the rear, although 'beer garden' is rather doing it down somewhat. Our first stay we had the top suit in the rafters which is beautiful. This time we were given room 1,...

We stayed at Fritton Lake Retreats and visited here for a meal. The food was very good and excellent friendly service. It is gastro-pub food, but non of the basic things you may expect (other than steak and burgers). The chef creates more elaborate dishes. Nice location for our stay but the lodges we stayed in further down the road...

Having visited this lovely pub on several occasions we were eagerly anticipating our Friday evening meal. However, the overall experience fell short of our expectations. The service was a little slow and indifferent and the food was bland and appeared more pre-prepared than previously. The tagliatelle was bland and the burgers rather tough and chewy. Hopefully on out next visit...

Spent a night in room one, beautiful large room with very comfy bed. Good facilities, Cowshed toiletries and fluffy bathrobes. Proper ground coffee which was a bonus. Breakfast was very good with unusual selection for a hotel, eggs benedict, marmite soldiers with boiled eggs and advocado on toast as well as the traditional English. Very enjoyable stay
